Only criticism I have is that the game screen is getting a little cluttered. Perhaps you could take away the display of the feedback score ingame.

i like that idea the feedback in game is just a waste to me

The point I would pose is that the playing field was even, dependent on time investment and attention, prior to this and greasemonkey. Everybody had the same opportunities, but it required personal initiative. This is just another method of catering to the lazy - and that is illogical in a competitive game.

As many have stated, in the real board game you are able to see how many cards the other players have. In fact, in the Risk Championships and the official rules it is required that your cards be visible at all times so the other players can always know the card count.

Catering to the lazy? How about catering to the efficient. If you really want to spend your time going through the game log and manually counting (don't forget the games that last 100+ rounds!) then you can still waste your time. However I think its good that now EVERYONE can save time instead of doing trivial things such as counting. With that extra time you can go do something useful with your life instead of being lazy and spending more time on a computer game

Maybe I was wrong. I just assumed that everyone that didn't use an add on that kept a card count did so manually in their head. I never realized that anyone depended on complete chance regarding card redemptions.
Apparently there are those that rely on others not tracking the cards. I guess losing an advantage would seem like a bad thing to those losing it.

It's obviously an improvement to add the card count. The other changes are better as well. I can't see why anyone would think differently there, but who knows?

If people are using an add on to improve their game experience, it's completely logical and most appreciated that the game designers would seek to add the same feature and eliminate the need for add ons.

Other than selfish desire for a continued advantage against the less aware there is no good reason to disapprove of the addition of the card count.

It would help to level the field for those who never bothered to count the cards or use the add on. It will make things more competitive.[/quote]

I don't have a sheet beside my computer which tells me who has how many cards in a game. If I want to know that I scroll through the game log.
Sure it is a good thing to know how many cards your opponents have. But those who don't care to know don't deserve to know. But after I tried a few games without cards I have to admit that they are way more tactical and I think I will play them more often than card games. In a card game you can loose your position obtained through good thinking and good tactics by the additional armies from cards. Sure I get them too, but often it was the case, tht I could only cash in cards when I got the 5th, while everyone else could cash in after 3 or 4 cards. That way people are not encouraged to use their brain.
You can argue that the original game also has cards, butthe no cards option is an improvement in my eyes. You have to get used to it, but I think it is more exciting to play...

I find the new addition a bit of an eyesore. I would appreciate a way to disable it because i really prefer the monkey. I mean firefox is a free download people. Monkey Script is free. It's all FREE! there's no reason to not have been using it all along.
