It really depends on how strategically minded a person is. Then there's the luck factor (deployment, dice). So basically, you can't put it one way or the other. There ae kids who are better than adults, adults better than kids, and then there's luck.

Yeah, that was sarcasm. worst and worse should be switched, blah blah
I think it's more experience and luck rather than intellectual ability or the knowledge of grammar of when to use worse or worst. The top players are good, but lucky flucks. It all depends on the dice and the ability to manipulate the dice god. Yes, the dice god is not capitalized because he or she does not exist.

Not to mention the Nintendo effect, I do not have stats to back my claim up, but I would be willing to bet that the average players over 20 spent much more of their childhood playing board games similar to CC. Whereas todays youth have easy access to the latest and greatest video games, the choice on where to devote their time is easy. Also I would be willing to bet that more adults tend to become long term regulars here because it does remind of our childhood past times.
This brings up a better question though, will the average kid who spends one year on CC be better than say an adult who has only played the physical board game? In less than 5 months I have played more games online than physical games of Risk in my life. This is exactly what happened in the Poker world, many young people learned in less than a year what took lifetimes for greats to learn because of the shear volume of games they could play in a short amount of time.
Note: this second question does not contradict my contention for the first question because adults and kids alike have had the same amount of time to use CC.
I could be wrong, but I do not think that chess has really experienced the growth in higher levels of play like we are seeing here or that happened in poker. The top chess players in the world can hardly be described as internet superstars that made it to where they are by playing 50 games online at a time.
True, I didn't play risk that much, because only me and my dad would be willing to, so when my dad found this site, he invited me over.
But also I do play a lot of Nintendo games.
But of course I spend a lot of time here too. (The joy of having NO life.

i agree about the grammer (btw i have an A in english even if i can't spell), but i think strategy is more important than experience and grammer combined, i mean there are players who are older than crap, but they still suck.

You forgot about "its" and "it's" as well as "your" and "you're"
Man, that bugs the hell out of me!
And back in my day (which isn't too long ago), I played on the good 'ol cardboard. I like the cardboard better than online, but none of my friends are honestly gonna wanna play risk and sit through a whole game. Ah well.
I'm just glad my parents didn't gimme video games until I was about 14.

(ok, this is about wat the middle paragraph of wat kenny wrote) i think i (being a kid) would do really crapy in the physical bord game because i would be used to having unlimited fortifying (and other things that can be changed about the game) that arn't in risk, but that doesn't really matter because my family hates playing risk, most of my friends dont know how to play risk, and my one friend who knew how, and was good at risk moved to another state, so i probably not going to play any phisical games
