Oh, and the '85 Bears D, yes VERY good; but I think the '76 (or '78 for that matter) Steelers' D might have something to say about the best ever.

obviously the Chargers will win. in 06 regular season SD had 2nd best rushing in nfl, middle of the road receiving, highest scoring, and rated 4th best offense. a great 1 2 combo with LT(our triple threat monster man) + michael turner. lorenzo neal is just an amzing of a FB. rivers isnt half bad as QB, antonio gates is an incredible TE, several decent receivers(LT caught + passed some too), donee edwards, quentan jamer, shawn phillips + sawn merriman and many other D-liners all have many 45+ tackles and 15+ assists + 61 sacks as a team too. also the def had 16 ints, most stats for SD were better than their opponents. if they can co-operate with the new coach + loose the nerves in the playoffs i see super bowl XLI for SD

take that jay_a2j we have a solid team all around not just LT, you probably root for the raiders anyways *hem *GAY!

First issue first. Last season the Cowboys ended the Colts undefeated season in Dallas by doing just that. Stopping Harrison and Wayne. I do like the Colts, though, as a team, because of Peyton, Dungy, and Harrison. Now, as for your Nebraska references, the Big XII North sucks. The Corhuskers would be 4th at best in the Big XII South. Need I remind you of the 70-14 beating you took in Lubbock or the last second TD win in Lincoln. Texas Tech is the 3rd best team in the South every year. You guys may have history and tradition behind you, but like baseball, you are the PAST-time. Much love, though.

im not saying the patriots should have won, by the way im a HUGE pats fan, because the colts outplayed us towards the end
but i think if soome of the bogus calls went differently we could have had a better chance of winning the game

and the only team in the nfc with a shot of winning the super bowl is the saints

but of course my pats will take home another trophy this year

You want bad calls? How about the "non-interception" call against Troy P. in the AFC champ game? Obviously they wanted their precious Peyton to get to the SB at the time (the Mannings have LOTS of NFL "pull", ya know).

The difference between the Pats getting bad calls last year (for the same reason of getting Peyton in the big game), was the Steelers overcame the horrendous calls, and a Bus fumble (still haven't recovered from that heart attack) to stay in the game and win.....

Theres bullshit everywhere...But the colts were having a fantastic year though, so its a bit of a mixture of playing and horrible calls

yeah, the pats had a pretty bad 4th quarter in that game

our LB are getting up there in age and just couldnt keep up come fourth quarter
