I have always found celebrities persons that barely deserve any attention from me. They are over-rated because they are "blessed" with good looks and an ability to act.

1) It was a bitch-slap…it was not a sucker punch. Two totally different things.

2) It is interesting to ponder what the reaction would’ve been if it were a white actor instead of Smith. I’m certain the reaction would be much different from many people… even though the act is the same.

3) If they strip him of his Oscar it is a giant over-reaction. Other people have been expelled from the Academy and stripped of membership… but only one Oscar has even been revoked and it was due to a technicality… not as a punishment. Roman Polanski has not been stripped of his Oscar. Bill Cosby never won an Oscar but has not been stripped of his Emmy’s or Grammy’s. Harvey Weinstein still holds his Oscar win. I’m sure we could find many more former winners who have done much much worse things than Will Smith. If they are going to start stripping Oscars for bad behavior Will Smith should be way back in the line. He didn’t rape or molest anyone, all he did was slap a guy who insulted his wife. That’s possibly deserving of a round of applause… it’s not deserving of serious punishment.

I agree though, it is sad how oppressed and unfairly treated white people are in America. The UN's silence on the matter speaks volumes about its 'priorities'.
