Hi.
It would be nice to hear wtf this is about.
I am here to play.
I have been with this tournament from the start.
It is awesome, 2 months down?
I will cancel and say farvel to this site. I am supporting the guys who built this. I know it was an uphill battle from the start.
I have noe idea why admin of this site would let somthing petty get in the way.
Craig, start a new site, it takes 20 minutes with AI to make a site like this.
I will join you there. So would all who want to play and no drama.
Craig you have an craving to be the boss. I feel you acting somewhat childish on behalf of the others. But having said that, I know how much some few in management have been "after" you for some reason.
You got it to this point. And I would like to see this resolved.
If you must be the boss, leader etc. Just start as I said a new page.
Promt" build a gaming site with the game Risk rules. Generate 40 maps where tactic and a little luck will get you to the top. Make it open for all by loging in. Add a way to pay membership to play more than 2 active games. Look at conquerclub.com to see what I mean. Then use some of that code if needed. What you dont find, build and make folder and files for easy maintenance. Lut us for now call the website FUN."

since i am going on Vacation for the first time in decades at the ends of January, I am happy that there is a break in the action. Give it some time to wash.

I'm sorry to hear this happening. CCSL is the main reason I enrolled in premium.

Appreciate all Craig has done to make this tourney the best thing on CC. Without it, I doubt I would have stuck around this long. Hope a resolution can be found during this period of downtime.

The Super League is the highlight of my experience on Conquer Club and I look forward to each season. It's an absolute shame that Craig isn't better supported by CC and the issues resolved.

You've done a heck of a lot of work to give us a good time on here, Craig. Best wishes on whatever you decide to do.

Very sorry to hear about this. I know there was something going on in the Championships forum, but didn't really look to hard to find out what.
I appreciate all the hard work you and the team have done with this tournament. I hope there is some resolution and you decide to continue in a couple months.

I’m only here for the CCSL now. I look forward to every game and season!
The updates Craig does are so good and funny. And the rest of the team that put it all together to make it such a great tournament are hero’s.
CC must see this is the best supported tournament on here?
There is no other tournaments since the playing every map tournament finished.
Please sort it out everyone involved as we need this!

That's how I read it too.
I have raised this matter with CC's top brass, I will be devastated if this doesn't get resolved.
CCSL is the best thing that's happened to CC in the past few years.
Keefie you're a mod, you know as well as any other mod that Craig is a problem. He can lie to his followers and attempt to insight revolt when things do not go how he wants, but that doesn't make him the good guy.
With regard to this situation, you are well aware that it has been handled already. In the grand scheme, it was a relatively minor issue that is simply being milked for drama on Craigs part.
Craig has a clearly defined history of attacking and making things miserable for those he does not like. We have lost multiple mods who put in hours of work in various areas of the site in part due to the drama caused by Craig.
Super League is an important tournament, and like many important events on CC before it, it would likely be best run by the mod team to ensure its stability. The fact that its organizer is threatening to shut it down simply because he does not get his way in a forum moderation decision is ridiculous.

What is it with these Mods? Its tournaments like this and Craigs dedication that make it fun to play. (After all he supports Scot-land & so the wee lad needs as much happiness he can get!)

He really doesnt lie and to my knowledge is never deliberately nasty and has treated me extremely well always - we adore his banter. But he can have a short fuse for sure. But quite frankly the amount of work he puts in entitles him to run the show his way - which be honest is extremely skillfully. Can we all just get on and make CC a fantastic exp ?

well, Super League is the only reason I carry a premium membership... so I am cancelling that right now. I know you are above it, but I wish I knew who this person was so I could ad them to my Foe list so that even in my soon-to-be four games at a time that I do not play them.
sorry to hear about all this, the league has been so much fun and I cannot believe that CC is just allowing it to happen to you.

For anyone wanting to know what this is about you can see it here :
https://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewt ... ead#unread
This is a link to the C&A (Cheating and Abuse) Report that Craig made about Swimmerdude.
In the first post of the C&A there is a link to the championship 1v1 thread where you can see the posts that caused Craig to open the report.
Can't know about any PMs that would have gone between Craigs and mods of course.
But it's looking like Craig is not happy with the mods not giving a punishment to Swimmerdude.

I was steering clear of this troll conversation, but apparently I was mentioned in his C&A forum complaint, so I'm sinking on down to this level.
Craig does lie, a lot, and has been the root of why many mods quit. This is also not the first time he has thrown a tantrum and threatened to quit CC. Part of the reason most people don't see this side of him, is that Craig likes to delete his posts, making it seem like he's an innocent, kind person being victimized by others.
Some of us were invested in the private forum, Tournament Organizers, in the hopes that it can be a place to learn from each other and grow the tournament community. Unfortunately, this quickly became a place where every post was trolled by Craig, and every idea that didn't further his 'flagship tournament, the best cc has ever seen,' was belittled and insulted until people began quitting. Eventually, even extremely patient people like Mad777 and Dukasaur showed animosity towards his posts (the ones he didn't delete), and Craig left. Too late, unfortunately, as he killed the forum.
So if Craig quits, oh no. Someone else can run CCSL, if there's organizers that haven't quit because he's a troll. But I doubt he'll actually quit, these 'I quit' posts don't usually last too long for Craig.

Everyone is asking what happened and believing for some reason that Craig was treated unjustly here. Let me explain in the most direct way I can what occurred.
Someone made a single comment that the Championships thread was being overrun by messages from SuperLeague players that sounded cultish in nature. A JOKE...something that everyone can agree that Craig enjoys making himself, usually at someone else's expense.
Craig didn't like the joke so started to personally attack the person who made it. The person defended themselves, without personally attacking Craig in any way.
Craig demanded the person be banned, despite not breaking a single rule.
The person was warned (though some would argue this wasn't warranted), but not banned.
Craig threw a tantrum and decided he would abandon an enormously popular tournament he was hosting, and disappointing over 300 people in the process, because his demands were not met.
Unfortunately, admin deleted all the messages from the Championships Thread, but they are still available to read by some and I believe they should be reinstated so everyone can see clear as day what happened.

Oh I didn't know message from the championship had been removed from the thread.
I read most of it when the C&A was created and thought they were still in it.
Clear and concise explanation groovy.

Are you kidding

The 2024 1v1 Championship is already running a year late, and if Craig hadn't encouraged SL players to join and alerted them to it's actual existence it probably would have taken another 6 months to fill. The tournament team simply does not have the manpower to run a tournament of this size as efficiently as Craig and his team (which wouldn't exist if he was as nasty as you make out).

What the person actually said was "You have me FOED?!!?!?! BAHAHAHA. Was that from when I got frustrated that you were trying to turn a memorial event for my friend who passed into marketing for super league? I had almost forgot about that. Not sure when you started caring about offending people but yikes."
In my opinion this was completely out of context and below the belt compared to the banter that had gone before it. If that isn't a personal attack I don't know what is!!

For a gaming site, players here have extremely fragile egos and this skin.
I would hate to see how many would fare on other sites.

I'm not going to get involved in the politics going on. My two comments (not knowing anything that has occurred) is CCSL is FUN! I love the new format and I look forward to Mondays and Thursdays. Also, several people, including (especially) Craig, spend a lot of their personal time making this happen, with updates that I find entertaining. For this I think we owe them thanks. I'd hate to see the tourney stop!

I guess I'll have to find other games/tournaments to play on this site then. Been playing in the Super League since Season 7 (I think) and have loved my time here. A shame that Craig is shutting down the tournament because of some comments. There are other people that can run it is his absence, as well, but Craig does a great job running this.
