Of course, if you mean to restore the paranoid Cold War period in which we feared the Soviet Union and thought them to be superior to ourselves, then you are a dictatorial leader again by suppressing freedom of expression.

You make to many assumptions. It would be a form of a military goverment and Confederacy. All nations would still control themselves, but if called upon to take out enemies, they will do so immediatly. As for purging, no. I'd stop the Communist leaders before it would get out hand, and either exile them, or put them in prison. Also, the Free Market economy, aka, Capitalism, would be in full swing.

Kind of, yeah.

well that idea MIGHT work, if you split it up more. let's compare it to U.S. government for example. Each city (represetnig a country) has it's own sudo government. Each state (representing regions Ex. middle East) has power over all it's cities. Then the world government (your Hegemony) would have power over each region, which inturn has power over each city.

However, I think you'd agree that the only person who will ever successfuly take power over the world will be the Anti-christ, who will do so by Carisma. I don't think you'd want to take THAT role in history...

AKA the UN. No one's going to fucking listen to you. The confederacy system sucks balls since it's so weak and decentralized. A more centralized government would be able to keep itself from falling apart. Let's say China and America are pissed off at each other. You seem to resolve in favor of America since Americans are LESS communist.

China breaks off and the nations around her follow suit. Military strike forces are sent in, but China is able to hold her own. China threatens to use nuclear weapons. The whole system falls apart piece by piece. If it were more centralized, we could have global elections and select a world leader. Nuclear weapons would be seized and destroyed underground. First off, the Articles WERE passed. Also, what I am talking about is more similar to what the US was founded on. The countries (in relation to the states) take care of themselves for the most part. The central government, would take care to see that no nation would decide it would "secede" like in the American Civil War. If they do plan on it, the leaders would be made in to examples to what happens if you think you can secede. The difference? It would be almost entirely Capitalist, but the local governments would uphold laws where they are.

You spoke of a Confederacy. They were passed, but replaced because they suck. The same reason the Confederacy never worked, because the people were more loyal to the states. The difference?
