I'll take Washington. This tournament is going to take forever if you need 50*16=800 people to sign up. Could we maybe do 6 or 8 from each state?

I am not expecting for there to be 16 players in each state...if one state gets 16 players it will be officially closed and contestants hoping to represent that state will have to chose a new state to play for...the tournament will be considered full when all states have the minimum number of contestants.

What is the minimum number for each state. Is it 2 (which would put those states with just 2 players automatically into the second round) or is it a higher number than that, 3, 10. I'm sure you've mentioned it somewhere but I've not been able to locate where with my limited intelligence. Perhaps you can help me out here with the number.

im going to set it at 2...yet if all 49 other states have more than 2 players I will set it at 3 so it is fare.
