Is it necessary to hold the rank of Marshall? Or would a police constable with a talent for etchings be acceptable?

Nah, basically if you study (or have studied) any Asian martial art, or you participate in boxing, wrestling, fencing, or anything similar you're clear to join.

Wait a tick, I do box, but have no formal teaching, or belong to a gym(there's a group of us that do it out here). Does that count?

Also, Fencing is a martial art? I've shot stuff, does that count?
Also, I know how to use a Butterfly knife, would that count?
