Then I reply saying 'I just hit 27 medals!'
THAT would be making the thread about me.

But since I made a whole different thread about my getting 27 medals, it's ok to make that thread about me since it started, about me.

Fruitcake is correct in that the above post had nothing to do with Conquer Club. It was all about the relationship you and owen have, or lack thereof. I suppose it could have gone in CB, but anyone with any sense knew where it would lead.

What I said about owen, was actually to owen. No flaming involved. In fact, there were even compliments. I see no flames in what I wrote.

Flaming doesn't always entail using curse words and claiming your genitalia is bigger than another's. You knew that the thread didn't belong in GD, and you knew that it would turn into an argument between you and about five other people, therefore making the thread a flame thread. Quit denying your true intentions behind the thread.

Owen's life doesn't revolve around cc. Unlike Paradice's. So that is why he isn't around.

Paradice, I don't want to get into one of those long no ending threads with you such as we have seen previously. Your tortuous route of logic leaves me gasping for air at times. However...let's just try to take this one simple step at a time:

1) You post a thread that names a person for a particular reason apart from imparting some news about that person (such as the congrats threads that abound).
2) It then, logically, has nothing to do with general discussion in the GD forum.
3) Said thread then belongs elsewhere.
4) Moderator concurs, even decides, this logic and moves thread
5) Moderator makes decision that it will be a flame
6) Moderator moves it to FW
7) Another Moderator agrees this and explains rationale for the move to FW

Now this is not rocket science Paradice. It is simple logic. To then argue whether it is already a flame or not, is no longer germane to the argument. The thread was in the wrong place to start with. The Moderators, in their wisdom, decided it had to be moved to a suitable place, their decision was that place should be FW, QED it was then classed as a flame.

You could argue your intention was not to start a flame, however, that would hold little credence after reviewing the history leading up to the point of posting.

You completely misunderstood what I said. I was saying that clapper011 and many others, whom I would consider to be rational people, obviously considered your thread a flame, hence the move to Flame Wars. You argued against this. That means you either:

A) knew your thread didn't belong, and made it in the wrong place anyway, or

B) are completely irrational.

So, which is it?

Do I really need to say these things twice?
