Well, well, well. Look who came out to play. Let me cut right to the chase. The curiousity inwhich Eve had would not have happened if she was not tempted by Satan. She was told that she would gain great knowledge and find out that she didn't need God. Well, if it wasn't for Satan planting these thoughts in her head, she wouldn't have had them. What I'm saying is that it was Satan who made Eve curious, not God.

And it was God who punished Eve for being tricked, and Adam for listening to Eve. So the real question is why did people blame Eve for 6000 years and counting, and not Satan or Adam, for what resulted (God's punishment)?
Also, God was being a complete dick. He could have at least tried listening to Eve's side of the story. He could have used better problem-solving techniques, like we were taught in kindergarten.

If you read the Bible than you would know that God did blame Satan. As for Adam and Eve and their punishment, God told them the conscequeces of not obeying. Since God is perfect and doesn't lie, he followed through with his warning.

God designed humans with certain traits such as curiosity. And Satan was an angel who was cast out of heaven for being vain or something like that. Wow, god's really merciful and loving.

The Bible does not say. As far as I know there's only one place where Satan's beginning is explained and that's the gnostic scriptures.
