Game Finder Update

My biggest pet peeve with the Game Finder page is I am very particular about what I like to play and I think it is outrageously inefficient that I have to do 6 different searches to find what I want.
Why can't you use check box selection instead of single bullet? Why do I have to do 6 searches to bring up all the 3 and 4 player terminator/assassin/standard games? It would make more sense (unless it is impossible with the search system you are using) to be able to check multiple options...

Suggestion: Making games easier to find.

Any chance we can get the radio buttons for game type in the game finder changed to check boxes ?
I am always looking for non dbls or trips games to join, and I have to either go through 5 pages of dbls and trips in the 'join a game' page to find what I want, or I use the game finder to look for all those 'waiting for players' games that are for single players.
I feel it would be alot easier if I could search for all waiting games with game types Standard, Terminator AND Assasin.
Call me lazy, but it shouldn't be a huge coding change.

Game Finder tick boxes

This is kind of related, so I'm just going to put it here. Is there a possibility you could add some sort of "sort" options for the maps? Maybe something by the complexity (Crossword, Circus, KoTM, maybe Space) or Size (maps with X # of territories)
It wouldn't be pressing right now, because the forthcoming "Tick Boxes" but there are 32 maps, with 4 more in Final Forge. As the number of maps grows, it may be easier to just classify them in groups, instead of finding them all.
Joning multiple games in game Finder

Hi,
I don't think this has been suggested.
Is it possible to add a feature within Game Finder such that when you find a list of games that match your preferences that it would be possible to join more that one game at a time. Maybe each listed game to have a check box designating that you wish to join that game?
Thanks for considering, Scottie

Easiest solution I've found for this is, if you use Firefox browser and have a mouse with a wheel that clicks (third mouse button), the default behavior is to open in a new window/new tab. I do a search, then using the wheel click on the Join link, this opens the join in a new tab and I can keep looking at the search results in the main tab.
Check boxes in "join a game" menu

I believe that this, (along with my other suggestion) will help players join games quicker, and allow them to join more than one game at a time.
This Suggestion, as opposed to the other one i made, is for games already created.
I believe that if you had check boxes in the " Join a game" menu, so that players could join more than one game at a time, this would allow team mates the opportunity to find their partners games, and join them, before someone else comes along and takes their spot
This probably isn't overly difficult to do, so I'll list it at
Priority 3.85 like my other one.
Thanks, and good luck.

Yes. I also like this idea. Sometimes a friend makes a bunch of games, and I want to be in a lot of them (but not all because I don't like U.S. Senate map) I don't want to go and join each one individually because that is tedious and annoying. Man john, you are just full of great ideas

A good way to do this without check boxes is if you are using Firefox and have a mouse with a wheel that also clicks (3rd button), the default behavior is to open link in a new window/tab. Just do your search and click the wheel to join games. The search stays open.
You can do this in other browsers too, you just have to bind the open new window/tab command to a mouse button.

This just about covers it for now. I would give this idea a lower priority, maybe a 1 or 1.5 since it's already possible.

like the idea but i wouldn't really use it. i mean seriously how many people need this? but then it isn't going to hurt so i'm up for it. only problem i can see is accidental checking when joining multiple games
SUGGESTION - joining games in Game Finder.

I'd like to see a change in the manner that we can join games when using GAME FINDER. It's frustrating to check all the preferences every time you want to join a new game, only to have to do it again and again for every game.
I pick my preferences, find a game, and join it. I then try to go "back" on the computer and it sometimes won't let me, saying the page has expired. Now I have to do the whole thing over again.
I'd like to see something where we can join multiple games without having to enter our preferences every single time.
It is completely possible that I am doing something wrong or there is a quick fix. If anyone has any suggestions for me, they would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
