haha ok you're right, it isn't that uncommon, but i just thought it was funny. And it has happened to me twice now too, i guess im just becoming a veteran CCer.

It actualy happened? You say that likes its extremely rare or unheard of.. I roll triple 1 3/4 times a day, with the defender rolling a 1, maybe once every two days.

The other day I rolled triple 1 three times in a row.

This is a fun thread, i forgot I had posted here.

Ok, lets get the 111 shit straight. Odds of rolling 1,1,1 is 1/216, not that rediculous if you play several games a day. Odds of rolling 1,1,1 and he rolls 1 is 1/1296, still not rediculous. If you roll 3 dice against 1 a lot.

Pretty much lost a key 8 man game due to rolling 75 against 50 (complete miss) earlier in the game and 30 against 20 later in my main attacks. Also failing to finish off another 8 man due to my opponent rolling pretty much perfect dice (you know 11 takes 10 territories crap like that) 3 times in a row when I am throwing 20 a turn his way compared to his throwing 10 or 11 and he's achieving parity. A trips game has dragged on for ever due to my inability to throw 10 against 4 with any degree of certainty. At one of those points where I pretty much wince every time I throw. What's really galling though is that my dice are tending to be average to 'averagely good' when it isn't so important and only truly collapsing when I am either going for the win or trying to avoid the loss. Also, throwing against 1's. Defender rolled 7 6's out of 10 in a key move yesterday. In fact, I haven't rolled well against 1's for days...

I just did number 8 and let my tell you it was something. I was in the library and after i killed the men and realized what i had done i punched the desk, hahaha, everyone around me looke, wow how embarrassing.

just finishing my 9th straight day with horrible luck...

I would like to post incessantly in this thread to, so as to up my post count.

I lost the last game I played. DAMMIT

Here I am...again...just letting everyone know that in the past 3 days ive lost 400 points (which is an Enourmous amount on account i only have a dozen games at a time). They reason I've lost so much...well ya know, same old SH!TTY DICE syndrom. I've had a chance to win 5 of those games which would put me around even for the past 3 days, BUT when the game was on the line in key Escalating games I lose a grand total of about 120+ and kill only about 55, which is an average of about losing 24 per game per key move and killing only 11. I thought attacker advantage should have those numbers switched...


and to top it off, my sister back stabs me in my family game. We had a cease fire between us until we were the remaining two players so my borders were weak, so she decides not to follow it and kills me from behind...i hate this game right now

I've actually lost some games because my opponents out played me. Yep, that's right. Sometimes we loose because the other guy actually played better. Really.

Are you trying to mock me? I don't really think getting extremely unlucky is the same thing as having other players outplay me.

There's no need to try. You mock yourself by making such claims.

Picture this if you will, you've been engaged in one of those stalemate games. This game has been going on for months. There are 3 or 4 players left and no strategic end in sight. Every one is just stacking and waiting for someone else to make a move or a stupid mistake. Then some FU$#&^%$%^&%ING SHI7*^*&^%HEAD A$$HOLE DEADBEATS. OK, so it might not sound so bad but, suddenly your opponent has a HUGE army of neutrals protecting a key border...................a couple rounds later....a reinforcement or two..............and all that time, energy and patience is gone. I refuse to believe I am the only one who has dealt with this....on the losing side of course.
BECAUSE OF SOME FU#$%^$%#^$#K STICK A$$$$FACE MORON CAPTAIN.

I don't really feel any better because I have now written about it.....I think whiskey may be my only hope of recovery.

Despite what Tim and George may think, people do have losing streaks due to bad luck. That happens all the time in games with luck such as Risk.

Although I would agree, sometimes people don't understand when they are outplayed and assume they must have lost because of those bad rolls a few rounds back.

Here is a good example of poor luck. In regular 24 hour 2 player games I am around 54%. Yet in 2 player speed I am only 46%. How do you account for a 8% swing? Did I all of a sudden become retarded?

I feel really sad and forgotten when nobody posts in the conquer crater map thread after a huge update.

I just don't think that players understand the impotance of new maps to cc's coolness, and if people posted more in the draft room, cc would be a lot more lively and I would feel better
