[quote="Megatron"]i see, so you still want a nice time limit, but as the game is labelled 'rt' everyone should have access to the game around the same time of day so that turns can be taken quickly. Or, are you saying that there would a be "stopwatch" function whereby when everyone in the game decides that it is time for a break, whether it be for sleep, work, or whatever, they could all click it (unanimous decision) and thus allow the game to be paused?[/quote
verry good idea but the stop watch should have a time that you can set it to so every1 comes back on at the same time to take there goes

Some really nice ideas...
and this is mostly to improve RT games, so the time to make a move should be low.. like 30min at max... or it wouldn't be a RT game.
the idea with a "time out" clock would also be great...
Hey guys, I HAVE to go now, but could we continue this in about 2 hours? ok? then we say we get back to the game in 120min? cya then... bye...
As some people are agianst this...
well, use the regular time and do it like you do now...
this option is for us non-premium members that want to play a quick RT game. I hate it when 1 player joines up does his/hers first round or two and then leaves...

I believe if you select realtime then once it starts you have 15 mins to start your turn and either 20 or 30 mins to do your turn once you start it. This will cut back on people leaving and then it would truely be a realtime game.

for the deadbeating problem...
if someone deadbeats in a RT game,
they lose double the points?

i dont see this as fair because if the player has an emergency and cant play there goes then double the points could hurt there rank but if the game is made shorter for rt then it is easyer on them and the game still goes on.
rt

the best way i think is rt is max 30 mins between gos but be able to change the time if some one has to go whitch to be agreed on before that person has to go how long before they be back
anything being done...

is this idea bein considered as i'm sick of deadbeaters its unfair wen playin ppl from different time zones as they either have to go to work, leave work or go to bed etc, but usually have a couple of spare hours to play an rt then some deadbeat shows up and wrecks it 4 every1 else, its jus not fair play. so plz bosses do something on this subject as even wen able to put passwords on rt games ppl still randomly dissappear.
Cheers Dot 24
hey !!! hellol

personnally i think rt games shouldnt go past round 12 and shouldnt take longer then 2-3 hours, and the odd chance that you have an energency come up well hey WOW you lose points in a game thats means absolutly nothing in your real life, so an rt option sounds great to me, and if you are goin to make an rt game in world 2.0 well common sense has to kick in somewhere, think 1st ppl

Realtime in real time

I much prefer the option of being able to set your own turn limit for a real time game. Several versions of this in online games exist. Setting an activation time as well should also be implemented, which is the time limit a player has to begin their turn after the last player moved.
An example illustrates this best:
Beeblebrox42 creates a four player classic world map scenario with a turn time limit of 15 minutes and an activation time limit of 5 minutes. Once the previous player finishes their turn, a player would then have 5 minutes to begin their turn, which they then have another 15 minutes to complete.
This activation time helps prevent the loss of valuable 'turn time' due to phone calls or nature calls, and is especially important in fast real-time games (which I'd love to see on here). If anyone has ever played any type of online game of chance, such as poker, slots, or any of the gamesville games, then you are already familiar with activation times.

make everything an option including the time allowed between plays
