I take it that's a sign up? Then we are good to go! I'll PM a director now.

If anyone still wants in, we'll be accepting reserves until the first games are underway.

Anyone who wants to follow the tournament will be able to do so here.

Apologies. I PMed Gilligan, got no reply, and mostly forgot about this in the excitement of my exams.

The first two games are now underway. HighlanderAttack didn't show up and was replaced by Clive. We are no longer accepting reserves.

So apparently I'm supposed to be keeping this thread updated. Whoops.

The first bracket has five players remaining, and is on game four. Bracket two has three players left after two games, who are waiting for bracket one to finish before they enter the finalist bracket.

Btw that first part is not my point. anyways.

Cash_Box: take the blinkers off and look at the game ! .... this tourney is going nowhere unless a player is eliminated and given the lack of betting the only way someone can be eliminated is to blind them out AND then BLUE goes and helps the low chip holder !!!!!

First i thought to suggest this in ur game 3rd, but thought to wait till final table that we can discuss about this.

Now that i looked ur game i saw that there was other guys or guy who saw same thing (lulz. i know this wasn't ur point, but turned it this way ^^). Since this is tournament and not a cash game, so blinds should raise. It wud need changing rules a bit kinda or agreement. Obviously we need to re-discuss it when we get in final table since in our table atleast have 1 guy with like 11 or sumttin dont remember (cant go to that page anymore^^).

Like just 1,2,3,4... or 1,2,4,8.... or 1,2,4,6,8,10,12,15,20..... discuss or vote or anyways, but yeh known it from start almost that this is gonna go to point where when we go further because avarage (X<) * Antes. So amount of chips to antes goes bigger. Well actually we cud limit it sum how by players left so it wont go point where its allin, allin, allin. Not rly most enjoyable thing even tho i know when i have to.

Didn't bringed it on table when we registered, but wanted sum guys to be little confused for my advantage :P
If u want it cash game like, u can go to normal games. But this is tourney so antes (in this case) shud go bigger putting little preassure and action in there. To get it done too.

I'll put another one. So that prev. don't go to long and to get this to easier view.

So. Facts: We got 240 chips in play.
_________Final table average with 7 players (at first) is ~34 per player, 6 players = 40, 5=48, 4=60, 3=80 and 2=120
_________So we cud do this kind of system basing on (X*A) for example:

_________This is directly from basic average of setup what we started with. 15:1(counting ante as u see);

_________Players - Stacks__ -__Antes____ - Stack/In middle
___________7___- (34) 32__ - 2 (2,266...) - 32/14 ( ~ 2/1 )
___________6___- (40) 37__ - 3 (2,66...)_ - 37/18 ( ~ 2/1 )
___________5___- (48) 45__ - 3 (3,2)_____- 45/15 ( 3/1 )
___________4___- (60) 56__ - 4 (4)______ - 56/16 ( 7/2 ) or (3,5/1)
___________3___- (80) 75__ - 5 (5,33...)__- 75/15 ( 5/1 )
___________2___- (120) 112 - 8 (8)_______- 112/16 ( 7/1 )
_________Able to discuss agreement with other player(/s). Sorry that wasn't capable to do this better. Multiple spaces wont work. Hope these make sense.

_________Like this next one better
_________Or by same setup, but with slightly decreasing (Stack/In middle) rate (not with 14/8(1,75) like in start, cos its so short stack) ;

_________Players - Stacks___- Antes - Stack/In middle rate
___________7___ - (34)32___-_ 2____~ 2,29/1 (bigger number first = more to play. very little tho)
___________6___ - (40)37___-_ 3____~ 2,06/1
___________5___ - (48)44___-_ 4____- 2,2/1
___________4___ - (60)54___-_ 6____- 2,25/1
___________3___ - (80)70___-_ 10___- 2,33/1
___________2___ - (120)100 -_ 20___- 2,5/1
_________Actually i wud prefer more that when it comes to hup / 2 players. It goes like 12,14,16.... antes raising every game or just like 14 or 15 antes every game.

And back again so i'll suggest and wud like it to be like this:

Players - Antes (if u want, count rest)

7 - 2
6 - 3
5 - 4
4 - 5
3 - 8
2 - 10,12,14,16.....

That would be optimal if we do it by players.

I'd like it to be like that so didn't even suggest by game style.

Clive and I agree that antes should increase for the finalist bracket. We're not sure exactly how we'll do it yet - probably increase them every time someone gets eliminated, or every five rounds if it takes longer than that. We'll decide on the exact numbers later.

Status of the tournament: first bracket still has five players, with between 11 and 46 chips each. I'm away for the weekend, so I'll create the next game when I get back.

The final bracket has now begun (or will when everyone joins), with myself, Clive, KidWhisky, LZND661, Backside and wercool.

We're also taking a vote on whether order of play should be fixed (through invites) or randomised (also through invites, but sent in a random order).

We're now about to start the fourth game of the bracket, with all six players remaining and between 30 and 66 chips each.

The vote went towards randomised order.
