Well, vio, you and Safari had already claimed VT's, so it wouldn't make any sense for them to claim that. So, at least from my point of view, this was mostly directed at me. I've also already hinted at who I am, so this was sort of desperate.

Well, I guess we will know the outcome soon enough.

The town members really wanted to go back to their boring lives. They were desperate and quickly strung up the first person they thought was scummy.

I didn't defend Fir that hard. I was just convinced that Vio was the better target. And correct me if I'm wrong, allegedly wasn't cena defending you the main reason you thought him to be town. I seriously was bothered by vio's psuedojoke claim and thought she was the better lynch target. And therefore you guys jumping on Fir for pushing for her lynch was not justified to me. Commander must have loved the distraction though.

Wait really? Scum have to live to win but town don't have to? I always say the faction won in my games whether or not they all lived (impossible for town, very difficult for scum).

Well, there was an outside possibility that Streaker wasn't the doc and if there would have been no kill, it would've looked bad. Second of all, I really enjoyed the game and I was planning to hammer, but then Fir went... crazy. Oh well...

He went crazy, because you didn't hammer. If you hammered Vio at that moment, the game would've been won for the mafia. He was asking you to hammer so you guys could win! Why were you wasting so much time, there was no point you were sitting about on the fence at that moment - the game was won! (Your NK that night for the win was secured as streaker was obv the doc)

No scum don't have to live to win. Otherwise it would hard for scum to get anything done. To further it my pm:

You are Scum! Your mafia buddy is Commander9. You may talk to each other at night. The mafia may make one kill every night. You win when your numbers equal the town numbers.

Read bolded. The mafia numbers equal the town numbers. Thusly I have won. There's nothing in there about staying alive. ;3

I was only around 90% sure at that time and I didn't want to throw it away.

Just a question to the rest of town, but why do you think I was trying to coax Commander to hammer? Do you really think that I am ballsy enough to put myself on the line to try to get a townie to end the game? The only reason I did that was the game was supposed to be over after Commander got my hint and hammered. It wouldn't have mattered! I'm not silly enough to try to do that to someone whom has no motive to do so. After he didn't know it my emotions started to kick in big time.

It wouldn't have been thrown away, safari could still have got easily lynched the next phase if by chance streaker wasn't the doctor. Also, I don't think streaker would have been the top choice for the doctor protection anyway, he was also on the Vio wagon. You basically threw your scum buddy under the bus, wasn't the right call and should've just hammered.

I do have to agree that if we were wrong we'd be fffed, however I was sure that a) I was right and b) Edoc was the cop and found Safari as town, so that even if we were wrong it wouldn't matter anyway. However b turned out to be false. Thusly I was trying to get it done.

I think commander actually played this really well. He had close to 0 suspicion on him, and he played all of town like he had strings attached. If you reread it, it's quite funny
Like the quote above, there are a few other nice ones from the puppetmaster.
He made a mistake not hammering instantly and winning the game, but he DID win. Hell, if you can afford to throw your only scummate under a bus and still win

MrSquirrell, thank you for hosting. I really enjoyed it, and believe I have learned a few things. Also i'd like to ask you, or anyone else, to host another one of these.
They are very interesting games after all. Quick, and fun.

It was fun to do. My next game probably won't be another C9 game, but it will be smaller with some vanillas. I've had a great idea for a game in my head for a while so eventually I will host that.

Also, yes technically fircoal won despite his backstabbing teammate.
