So how many votes is that? and does anyone have any real information to discuss this round before I make my claim? I'm pretty sure I will have to this time as I continue to be unjustifiably targeted simply cause I wanted the game to progress.
In my home live games we don't even need a 50% majority for a lynch, simply whoever gets the most votes at the end of a round. Moves much quicker, though I suspect it results in many more lynches of townies. Though this is moving I still think it is too slow for my full enjoyment.
I suggest we target those that haven't even posted and seem to have forgotten they are even in this game.

I mean God Emperor Q has only posted once, That seems a much clearer scum tell to me. He really doesn't want to get noticed. I bet many of you have forgotten he is even in this game.

The fact that you know forum inactivity/submarining as a scumtell but don't know trying to end the day quickly as one makes me even more suspicious...

Maybe it's because he's been reading the thread? Several of us have talked about inactivity/submarining throughout this game. We've already lost two townies last night, let's not lynch another today.
And I have a case! Looking back to when Dibbler first made his comments I find slowreactor voting for him first. And first on Day 2. And first on Day 3. Even on Day 2 when Shaggy came up with his guilty find on safari, slowreactor didn't change his vote. He made a couple of comments during that time but was very reserved and noncommittal. I think he didn't want to vote for his scum partner. And now he's trying to make an easy lynch against a potential townie.
Vote slowreactorHere's my case for Dibbler being townie that I posted Day 2:
soundman wrote:Dibbler strikes me as a townie. He's bored with all the waiting and told us he didn't care if he was lynched. I think he would be more interested in the game and not mind waiting if he had a mafia/power role. Of course he could be using reverse psychology... I'm actually more interested in what ShaggyDan's case is. He's been pretty quiet through most of the game.

2 things here:
1) I saw a major scumtell day 1 from Dibbler, and I acted on it. Day 1 ended too fast for any action, so I restarted day 2. As for the Safari bandwagon, the 1st time, right after Shaggy claimed, I misread, thinking he hasn't told us who his guilty investigation was yet, and when I came back to the thread Safari was already hammered.
2) I just saw this combing back through yesterday's stuff (in-game yesterday):
safariguy5 wrote:drake_259 wrote:And yes, vote Dibbler for his actions yesterday.
Mafia shouldn't have much reason going 3rd on a bandwagon against a co-mafia - unless Saf really thought that my bandwagon would be successful. Can people please let me know, if Shaggy didn't claim yesterday, would you think my bandwagon would have carried through? Just so I can gauge Saf's chances of bussing Dibbler vs him being innocent?

Guys, there is very little in the case against dibbler. Not wanting a deadline extension isn't a "major scum tell", it's just a noobish move from an inexperienced player.
So who should we go after? Well of the submariners God Emperor Q has made a grand total of two posts, the last of which was two weeks ago. He needs to be prodded or replaced.
There's another, more interesting, submariner though. VoiIet has made four serious posts. One of them was answering alt's question about what town's VC of "eliminate all threats to town" implied, the other was agreeing with safari about vig tactics and asking for a deadline extension. Note this is the same tangential fluff that most of safari's posts were made up of. Discussing game mechanics is fine but it's scummy when it makes up the majority of a player's posts because it lets them appear active without having to stick their neck out at all.
These are voiIet's other two posts:
VioIet wrote:Dibbler wrote:I just don't think that we will get any more info. If you want I'm ok with lynching I never thought this game would go for months but right now it is on that track.
I am doing Dibbler a favor here.
Vote Dibbler
And then later on the same day,
VioIet wrote:soundman wrote:Dibbler strikes me as a townie. He's bored with all the waiting and told us he didn't care if he was lynched. QFT. I remember making a similar statement in the Quentin game- which was perceived wrong. I think Dibbler's comments were due to inexperience, and not being sure how the game works.
So her only two posts that could be described as scum hunting consist of: 1) Voting a player and then 2) Agreeing that player shouldn't be voted.
The prosecution rests its case

Though certainly I am out to save myself, I find Ice Dagger's case very interesting. However I'm not yet ready to change my vote.
And for the record, I am new to the forum mafia but have played live mafia a number of times. However that mafia was quite different from this one. In that mafia a lynch occured every day and reading peoples faces was the most important part of the game. Here I can't read any faces and I was very surprised at how it just seemed we were going around the room pressuring everyone to get a claim. How this helps town is questionable as mafia will lie and town won't. Mafia all know each other so all we end up doing is showing the mafia who the power townies are and get little good information. Didn't seem helpful.
However if I get 1 more vote I will have to claim my role and let the chips fall where they lie. I do not want to get lynched, it won't help the town.

Dazza, I don't think dibbler's comments give us a clue on his alignment either way particularly. On the one hand a no lynch did benefit scum. On the other, the mod's insistence that all 17 players, some of whom weren't active, agree to a deadline extension meant it realistically wasn't going to happen anyway. So dibbler didn't actually help scum by breaking cover, he just drew a lot of attention to himself. It was bad play regardless of his alignment which is why I think it's a null tell.
Soundman, slowreactor, dibbler, sensible townsfolk in general

- if you don't want a dibbler lynch get on the violet wagon. If we don't get any momentum going dibbler will be forced to claim by default. If he's a VT he'll have to be lynched and if he's a power role he's likely going to be NK'd as the doc will have their hands full protecting shaggy.
