Included link to this thread in the tournament "Exterminator".
I almost didn't join any game in the TPA tournaments (I guess because I don't like to begin later than others) ... a couple of questions(I guess repeated):
1. When it is going to begin the second TPA... or it is a "never finish"(continous) event?
2. It is not allowed to play all the tournaments of this serie by default? I mean to say ... "I am in a TPA players list for all the tournaments while nothing against it happens".
3. When can I organize another tournament for TPA?

Thank you.

As far as I know, everyone has to sign up to each tournament on their own. I think in the TPA by-laws, there can be no mailing lists. Hence the reason for multiple posts about tournaments not being started on a Monday, or started early, etc. That is not allowed, but it has happened. The opportunity to join the tournaments is pretty open since the participant numbers are usually high. I joined about 3 months late, but now I am ranked 32nd overall, it helps to get started, and start winning the tourneys available. It is easy to catch up if you win a tourney or place in the finals of a tournament.

Mailing lists are not allowed for the first 48 hours of sign-ups. After that, they can be used.

Doesn't look like the planned one is going up.

I've pm'd bart with an alternative which I can launch immediately if required (assuming the original TO who was planning to launch this week definitely can't make it).

One of us will get a tourney launched today.

For the record here, since I was asked about it. The Traveling the World with my Friends tournament was a hybrid of team and individual. There were 32 teams that entered and played but then split down into individuals. Ranking the tournament as a 32 team tournament would not accurately show the skill in winning but ranking it as a 128 player tournament would be too much. In the end what I did was ranked it as a 64 player tournament as essentially we had 32 teams that then split down into 32 individuals. You could probably argue for a little more or less and not be wrong but 64 seemed to be a reasonable exercise on this one.
