I agree 100%. A Mafia subforum is needed ASAP and why not just give Spamalot a clan forum to keep them happy. As long as they don't recruit members by post count or spamming in the social lounge it should be fine.

To be honest I think you could make an easy tri-partite division of the Social lounge; Serious Debate, Mafia, Chit-Chat (inc. spam+forum-games). I know that if I had to turn it into sub-forums that's the way I'd do it...

One night I had to stay by the compute because of work, since I did not have much to do rather than wait, i went to Spamalot. I certainly did have lots of fun reading these people's posts (AGAIN, FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE COMPREHENSION PROBLEMS, I'M TALKING ABOUT SPAMALOT, NOT SPAM IN GENERAL)

I asked what was needed to be a member, and if I remember correctly, Hecter wrote that it was required to post meaningful comments, not bullshit spam. I was also told the requirement was part of getting to know the players before accepting them.

Now, I think I posted max 15 posts in Spamalot, if you pay attention my post count is around 150. Ergo, the 200 posts requirement was not intended for people to go out there and spam like maniacs in order to be accepted.

I did have fun there, I think these kids are smart and hilarious, I'm 29 and did enjoy reading their posts in the parties. For all of you saying you are trying to protect teenager members from "sexual" comments, give me a break, most of Spamalot members ARE teenagers.

Let the kids have fun and go get a life!

Come on guys. Your group is called SPAMalot. SPAM. Not conversation-alot. Who are you trying to fool? Whatever you say your 'aims' are spamalot people post a lot of crap in the forums, and we do get posts like 'will I reach 200 posts tonight' whether you like it or not. We have conversational threads throughout the social lounge, and I think it is fine if we implement a spam forum, but it seems ridiculous that you've all suddenly discovered 'morals', as it were, when a large portion of your 'early life' involved coming into other people's serious threads and posting 'spam' or 'spamalot rules'.

You started a group based around spam, which in internet terms is pointless and annoying posts in forums, and now you're getting annoyed when they crack down on it.

Guiscard, it was a joke. It was contained within one thread, at least for the most part, and the people there enjoyed talking to one another. I believe they did apply for a usergroup, but lack wasn't implementing them at the time, so they didn't have a chance to take it anywhere else.

I'd write more but I am starving and can't be bothered to argue with those that never had a problem with Spamalot when it was there.

The simple question is, what would have made people happier? And why was that not done?

I support the restoration of spamalot, and disagree very strongly with the actions of IC.

lol no a while a go a chalanged them to risk games and i have been crushing them {as you can see by my record it really has nothing to do with the spamalot thread just a couple people in there

Everybody put your previous grudges aside about Spamalot and realise that what AK did was single out a group of posters/members of CC and Bullyied them to the end.
