day 4

as the day ended a supposed cop claimed to know what anothers status was, his information along with this players claim and since the two did not match up this player was killed. now at night a man figured this cop to be lying about his role so in the dead of the night he hunted down the cop and when he found him there was a flash of red and this cop lay dead.

colton24, imperial intelligence agent, cop has been killed
he was with the empire

it is now day 4
and with 14 alive it will take 8 to lynch

Doc you sir are an idiot if you didn't protect colton when he was who he claimed to be. With that said, I think we're still in good shape based off of the empire still has lots of power roles and I wouldn't be suprised to find at least one more investigative type role in here.

Interesting that you say this. maybe you know something that rest of us do not, like either you are one or that you are setting up the fall of a cop in the future?

so what leads do we have?

Re: star wars mafia day 4

So, this is what we have so far:
Vodean, boba fett,3rd party survivor, lynched day one
7. Fuzzylogic99, princess leia, rebellion, killed night one
18. GiggleInDeath replaced by Pvt. Stroker, storm trooper, empire modkilled day 2
20. mandomike69, chewbacca, rebellion, modkilled day 2
9. spiesr, imperial citizen, survivor, killed night 2
2. Army of God imperial storm trooper lynched day 3
6. colton24 imperial intelligence agent, cop, killed night 3

and we have 13 left alive.

Now I am confused by the setup a bit, mostly because everyone seemed to claim third party but then ended up being town, but I think we have about two or three more people to kill, so I think we are in a fairly good place.

I had some time and I figured I would pick one person at random, and go through all their posts, see if I coulf get anything.
I did it for wercool

wercool wrote:vote colton
okay, first vote, first day, nothing really scummy. No explanation, but that is fine on day one.

2
wercool wrote:unvote
Again no explanation, maybe early in the game he is not sure what is going on, maybe it is his first time being scum, so he doesn't want to say much...

*It is worth noting that he went quite for a good 7 or 8 pages! for the first 13 page, his only posts were those two votes!

i think this is a lie. look somone always wins right thats means vodean would always win. i dont think a mod would put a un-losable role in vote voadean
Understandable. While he is wrong, and a survivor role is perfectly normal, for someone relatively new, it might not make sense. He is still trying to analyse, and doesn't seem to be intentionally misleading.

Maybe this is true, but possibly he is just making excuses for his submarining. Also, it is posting right after someone calls him out on submarining. Scummy? possibly

This quote is considered to be the slip up. Some say it means that he is not town aligned.
Army of GOD wrote:F*** this game is confusing.
So us townies are trying to weed out the storm troopers?
even if he is a third party that doesnt mean we have to lynch him does it :?:
Dunno, seems like an odd question to me. He seems to play the fool a lot so far.

wercool wrote:okay i dont realy think aog needs to be killed but if we dont lynch we wont get any information vote aog
A bit of a band-wagoner. If he doesn't think he should be lynched, don't vote him, dig through and find someone else scummy. To me, a bug scumtell is just not wanting to make the effort to help the town, he seems to do this a lot.

wercool wrote:so what leads do we have?
Again, waiting for someone else to try to find scum, not him.

so, only 9 posts in 23 pages, only 7 not including the first vote and unvote.
He doesn't do much to put pressure on people he genuinely thinks are scum.

My rating 7
(on a scale form one to ten, where ten means I am sure he is scum, one means I am sure he is town.)

I'm not really sure why everyone jumped on my back before, I guess it was because of how I worded my sentence or something. And you guys have nothing more than that to go off of, so why just kill a random innocent?
Pwnd. Aog is either a godfather type role that appears innocent (as opposed to 3rd party, Imperial citizen in this game), or a normal scum and Colton is a lying scum trying to save his buddy. In that case I assume the real cop could counterclaim him the next day. For now, there's really no reason to not lynch Aog as it will give us all the answers.

Vote Aog
If ga7 is scum, he would have had a pretty good idea that Colton wasn't lying (he'd at least know that Colton wasn't scum), so getting us to lynch a good guy would be fantastic for him.

Well, this is interesting. LSU made what was, at least IMHO, a fairly innocent comment. Why jump on him? It is possible that there is another investigator, a possibility that has some facts to back it up.

For example, why didn't the doctor protect Colton? After yesterday, I was fairly certain that Colton was the/an investigator. Whoever the doctor is would probably have thought so, too, or would have at least suspected it. So why did the doctor not save Colton?

One possibility is that there never was a doctor in the game. After all, none of the dead is a doctor. However, with 20 people in the game, I find it unlikely that the town was given only one power role. So another investigator is definitely a possibility.

The fact that Rainbow Eater jumped on that seems to point to his trying to find a way to lynch someone whom he knows is town. On the other hand, it could just be a legitimate attempt to lynch mafia. If there's a BW on him, I'll join in, but I don't want to do anything just yet. After all, maybe something new will come to light.

It seemed like an interesting comment from someone who has not posted a lot and I was going to accuse of lurking today, but he was one of the first ones to post. If there is another cop, wouldn't we want to keep it quiet, and not bring it up?

Rainbow Eater wrote: If there is another cop, wouldn't we want to keep it quiet, and not bring it up?
Maybe, but I thought that I would add to the conversation by defending something LSU said. Maybe I was wrong. However, four points can be made.
  • 1. It's not like I have inside info that should be kept secret from the mafia.

    2. Whenever someone speculates, while it would be nice for the if mafia didn't hear, it is advantageous for the town if they hear. While you, Rainbow Eater, might not (assuming you are town) want the mafia to read your speculation about LSU, the fact is that with no speculation, lynches would be random and the mafia would likely win.

    3. When I figured out (?) the cop/doctor thing, I thought I was pretty clever. I wanted everyone else to see how clever I am, so I posted the speculation.

    4. As I have said before (though I later regretted it and pondered whether to bring it up again), I am a 3rd party survivor, so I am not so concerned. This makes my 3rd point all the more crucial

I agree with what you're saying here, but I don't see why you're concluding that there's a big enough chance he's scum to point the FOS at him.

It seems to me that the cop shouldn't reveal themselves until they have pinpointed a scum member. Especially in this setup when we got the recruiter very early. There can't be very many scum left.

Well yeah, I think it was clear from the outset that colton's cop claim was wasted on AoG, and the fact that he got taken out just reinforces it. If there are cops left, hopefully they'll be a little more careful than colton was.

I don't think that there is a huge chance that he's mafia. He probably isn't. That's why I didn't vote for him, I only suspected him.
