This only applies to one player in MLS today. And maybe one other (Djorkaeff) in MLS' history.Lord+Master wrote:Ummmm... Who? Guess not all the MLS' foreign contingent are washed-up has-beens looking for more money!GreecePwns wrote:New York 5-0 Toronto
Dear England,
Thank you for Luke Rogers.
I watched until Argentina disappointed me.Nola_Lifer wrote:Anyone watching Copa America?
QFT. Prefer Chile though tbh.Pirlo wrote:I watched until Argentina disappointed me.Nola_Lifer wrote:Anyone watching Copa America?
Awful is a very nice word. If people thought that Dunga's Brazil was bad.... Manolo has lost the plot completely. Paulo Henrique (Ganso) isn't read and neither is Neymar. If anything, Lucas right now would be a much better fit, but if anything, Manolo should have taken the best players rather than his favourites (Nilmar and Marcelo are two worst snubs).Pirlo wrote:I heard Brazil was as awful as Argentina.
I'm afraid Neymar is just an overrated piece of shit.Commander9 wrote:Awful is a very nice word. If people thought that Dunga's Brazil was bad.... Manolo has lost the plot completely. while friendlys arent a big deal its stil surprising that amateurs who have jobs as plummers, electricians etc can beat a la liga team whos players make more in a week than these guys do in a year.
I think they are nit warmed up. the big team definitely take money for playing a friendly game.GreecePwns wrote:I don't know about this whole "not trying" thing either. While I can get, say, Wayne Rooney not trying in a friendly because he has nothing to gain from it, but those reserves certainly want to leave an impression on the manager in a way that will get them the starting job (or at least a substitution role of some sort).
And added to that, the lower ranked team will always be more up for the game, and will play without fear having nothing to lose.sam_levi_11 wrote:Personally i think its like the FA Cup, if a team of amateurs play proffesional's, who don't take them seriously, and who have their minds elsewhere, every so often an upset is bound to happen.
I always just assumed it meant Quite Fucking TrueSniper08 wrote:quoted for truth, it means he agrees with you.Pirlo wrote:sorry my friend, I'm not very good at abbreviations. explanation would be much appreciated.sam_levi_11 wrote:QFTPirlo wrote:welcome to friendly games where nobody cares.
I can find many excuses for Brazil like bad luck. but sadly Argentina have been just rubbish for about 10 years.oVo wrote:The friendly games doesn't explain Brazil & Argentina not advancing
in the Copa Americas. It might just be the full moon.
I thought QFT meant quit fucking talking?
Nah, that'd've made no sense at all in at least 80% of context.ovo wrote: I thought QFT meant quit fucking talking?
