I think I'd have to disagree with signature argument, though the rest of your responses make sense.

I have to agree with Andy on the signatures argument. I think they'd look much better if they were centered in that empty space. To me, it looks like the signatures are trying to pose as part of the legend.

All other things I've suggested previously are ok on your new version, but I don't understand what you did to make the blue/green stripes more noticeable... :?
I'm not at home so I have no way to do a test right now, but I'm curious to see how the map looks using a slightly darker green.
What do you think? Did you already tried but it doesn't work?

I aligned the stripes so that the blue stripes are consistent between the Hanju/Sakju territories, thus making them more noticeable. Similar to as they are in Gaya.

A darker green would not work for the colourblind, it would make the green very hard to distinguish from the yellow/brown on Tang.

Maybe, but on the opposite, I think that the light green is really hard to distinguish for people that is not colorblind, but maybe it's just me.

How would you know Hanju is green/blue if you can't distinguish it? ;)

Honestly, I've worked a lot on the colours, to get a combination that works for both colourblind and non-colourblind.

Also, if I change the green to darker, then it'll just make Bon-Gaya harder to see (it would be dark green/dark blue). There's no perfect solution here, with so many mixed colours, but I think the current one is optimal.

I didn't say that I'm not able to distinguish it, just that it is hard to distinguish. Anyway, I don't want to bother you for a so small thing, just take note for the Beta stage. ;)

I have other 2 suggestions for you, don't worry both are minor things and absolutely not mandatory.
- You could move the coords of buyeo on the small version a bit to left, in this way the 888 don't cover the goguryeo text.
- Remove the small island beneath the right legend (I do not know why, but it bothers me :P )

On the whole the xml looks good, well done! =D>

Thanks for the stamp.

The island on the right (can't remember the name) is a part of Korea, so I'd like to keep it - we couldn't find a place in the gameplay for it but I think it deserves to be there, for accuracy.

New XML here, moved the small buyeo left 2 pixels

The island is called Ulleungdo and I agree you should keep it. Great looking map can't wait to play it!

I'm pretty satisfied with most everything. In regards to the legend, is the +1 only for castles, and not capitals?

        • Beta - Quenching
---The Final Forge period has concluded for the Three Kingdoms of Korea Map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Beta Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for BETA Play. After an extended period of time in BETA and once all quirks and issues have been resolved, the map will be put into Full Play (barring any Lack vetoes).

Conquer Club, enjoy!
            • Image

While the map is in BETA Play, there are a couple of administrative tasks that are required of the mapmaker(s) in addition to the initial gameplay testing:
  • 1. Please ensure that the first post of the thread contains all the necessary information to help future visitors to the development thread; it's particularly important to ensure the most recent images are there, along with any helpful guides (such as gameplay quirks/nuances or the location/size of any starting neutrals etc.)
    2. Please update the Map Information Portal with details of your map
    3. Finally, it is the responsibility of the mapmaker(s) to ensure that they respond to further feedback in a timely and constructive manner.
