Congrats to Robinette for doing something interesting with this thread.Robinette wrote:AndyDufresne wrote:Congrats.Butters1919 wrote:Congrats to me for making Colonel for the first time! I don't expect this to last very long...
Uncongrats to me ramping down my games, but future congrats for ramping them back up again in September or October.
--Andy
The term Ramping down would refer to the extra work involved in contraction, which would not really apply here...
Much the way the term Ramping up, generally refers to the extra work involved in preparation of an expansion...
Around here, you just join away and you are there... no real ramping up.
and conversely, you can simply stop joining games... no real ramping down.
Perhaps the terms Waxing and Waning would fit better..
Of course this is generally used when speaking of the moon,
but i think it works well here...
So congrats to you for your waning games, and future congrats for your fall waxing...
Of course, we could always just say wax on,,, wax off... lol...
Congrats to Gillipig for omitting the prerequisite congratulatory salutation...Gillipig wrote:"His"Ace Rimmer wrote:Congrats to Robinette for getting me to think about her waxed legs.

Congrats to Robin for taking over Owen's compulsary need of enforcing a rule that is not a rule at all, merely a suggestion.Robinette wrote:Congrats to Gillipig for omitting the prerequisite congratulatory salutation...Gillipig wrote:"His"Ace Rimmer wrote:Congrats to Robinette for getting me to think about her waxed legs.

I'd like to extend congratulations to everyone who lives in Sweden and just finished writing for 6 hours non stop on his novel today.
Do I need to add that I was one of those skillfull/dedicated people?
I will present your suggestion to our Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf!john9blue wrote:um... what? did sweden have a national novel-writing day or something? congrats to me for not knowing what the f*ck goes on up there.Gillipig wrote: Congrats to Robin for taking over Owen's compulsary need of enforcing a rule that is not a rule at all, merely a suggestion.

What makes you think it isn't hurting anyone? Have you been living under a rock my good sir?Janomike wrote:hmm just noticed, that GLG lost 100 points while checking the scoreboard so i had to take a look at the reason...
Congrats to conquistaDong for beating GLG in a WWII freestyle game Game 11571879
And im not a GLG hater just cant understand that someone who definatly is a good player almost only plays such games.
I would miss the competition of different opponents, high ranked people and tournaments. But if hes fine with it its ok for me as long as nobody is beeing hurt in the process.
Incredible that someone with below 10 games is able to beat him in a freestyle game btw. Must have been pretty lucky i guess.
Ah, a misunderstanding then. We're all goodJanomike wrote:Sorry but you misunderstood me!
It did/does hurt people i know, just wanted to say that his way of playing would be ok for me if it wouldnt hurt anybody!
