So a relatively lazy day for me but a lot going on. Braves beat the Red Sox 2-1, Tommy Hansen throwing 6 innings of shutout baseball (his third shutout game and 4th straight win). USA went up 2-0 on Brazil before they eventually lost 3-2 (should have lost 4-2 but why bother abotu the specifics? unless you're a big soccer fan). Logano won a sprint cup event becoming the youngest ever. I saw the 42 failed assassinations and the one sucessful attempt to kill hitler (suicide obviously). And Billy Mays dies (50 years old. It's a conspiracy I tells ya!)

So which one of these do I actually really care about? None, they were just the ones on tv today.

And, as one more note by me on the Billy Mays incident... Rest in peace, Billy Mays. I'm sure he's in a better place now, where no one ever gets tired of hearing him scream his own name, and everyone always buys whatever crap he's peddling.

Yeah usually things go faster when we get close to a milestone but this time it's getting slower.

In some way that sounds like a nightmare. I guess it wouldn't for Billy Mays but for those people who buy the stuff...

Anyways, it's actually not much of a story, but a while back, I can't remember how long ago exactly, CC had a bit of a forum problem. the main effect was that instead of having 15 posts per page each thread had 10 posts for page. So obviously every thread became longer in page number despite no additional posts. This one got to around 2200 at the time and before it was finished I think actually got close to 2700.
