+1 might nt be a great advantage in singles play, but in doubles and singles it can make or break you!! Furthermore, wouldnt it be nice to have some fun gameplay options!?!

i keep meaning to do the versions, but i havnt got the time at the minute.
i will try when i have the motivation/time but probably the weekend will be the best time.
any suggestions on the gameplay would be great as you can see that i am no GP gurg

so is everyone ok for this to be basically the next update:
re-do attack arrow
[maybe] fix the title contrast (gimil's suggestion)
name the other terit that isnt named
[maybe] split up the mountains more
add a 1 way attack from the south to the north, or bombard? or link?
any other things please just post here and ill consider it
p.s the
bold and
underlined bit is just showing that im not sure what to do with that bit, ill PM oak about it.

1 way attacks sound good, bombardment not so much, the classic play is the appeal here I feel

yes im not too keen on bombardment, but a 1-way attack from south to north sounds ok to me, lets see what oak has to say.

Ideally, I think this map would be golden without one way attacks or anything other than standard play.

I agree. I think we're over-thinking this one with the capitals and ports and national forests and all.
The concern is that the north gives an advantage because you can grab an easy +1 and then move easily to hold the +2 just below it. Instead of adding a bunch of crap to make it the south more advantageous, what if you instead took away what gives the north an advantage? I suggest you extend the mountains so that Sava can't attack Analanjirofo in the first place, thus eliminating the problem.
Doing this gives you a 2 terit, 2 border, +1 region in the north, which becomes a 3 terit, 1 border +1 with your first take... that's fine. It's an easy bonus, but a lousy place to start because you have no options. It would be an even more lousy place to start if you made the central mountain range end when it hits Bongolava - it makes the northwest region a more appropriate 3 border +3 and eliminates the need for the one way arrow.
Extending the northern range also gives you a 3 terit, 2 border +2 region in the east, which I'm less thrilled about (you should definitely get rid of that new territory you stuck in there, since it shouldn't exist to begin with). As that region has more options, I think i might knock it down to a +1 as well... you could extend the southern mountains up just a bit to eliminate the Betafo-Atsinana border to make expansion from that +1 region just a bit easier.
This idea works geographically, because it's where the mountains are anyway.

just doing a version now - the mountains change
+++NEW VERSION+++

ok new version, its been a while...
anyway, i added those extra mountains like oak asked, removed the extra terit added in orange, changed the title a bit - i forgot what gimil specifically said but i added a texture to it, i think it will probably change back?
and i think thats all i did:
this is slightly different, just changed the terit boarder from mampokeny (green cont) so it can attack Sava so the north is harder to hold...oak what do you think?
p.s i also changed the glow off the land

lol ,gameplay has turned into a disaster, WTF. youve just gone and created an even worse bottleneck , allowing one or two players to quickly control the game!!!
A disaster is an every sense of the word!

makes me happy...
im no good with gp - i dont know what to do! the green bonus smaller perhaps? there is a big bottle neck with the north, maybe if there was a connecter like the helipads on malta, or like the lands end bonus but they would connect?
but i dont really want any gp gimicks or anything on this, i want it simple so i dont know what to do??

remove the mountains and have only the ones horozitonal to the blue continent!

Heres my gameplay suggestions:
1. open up the mountains between A-M and betsiboka
2. Remove the mountains from melaky to mid anka zobe.
These should open up gamepaly and let you keep the bonuses the same.

With those changes, I think the green continent should go from +3 to +4, as it would have 5 territories with 4 borders to defend.

hmm... I hear the concern about the bottlenecks, but I still think this is better than having the two smallest regions next to each other. Now it's like the 2-terit region and the 3-terit region are on opposite ends of the map.
The suggestions about shortening or opening up the northern range would help mix things up. If you're going to open up any mountains, it should not be between the two little regions - they should be kept at least three territories away from each other in my opinion.

ive never noticed how fat beksiboka is, he/she needs to loose some weight

what do people think, where do they need adding/removing?
