no bump. get that tablet and draw some nice mountains.

lol with the tablet i don't get better mountains

don't tell me you can draw better with your mouse than with a stylus on a tablet.

no, but this is done with filters
no it's not about filters. you said you can't draw well.
install your tablet and you'll have a stylus. it's like a pen that you use to write on the tablet. also it acts like a mouse. so let's say you have to draw a line with a fuzzy brush in photoshop. normally you select that brush and use your mouse to draw that line. then apply effects and shades and stuff to that line.
simply use the stylus like you use the mouse. it's easier to draw with a pen than it is with a mouse. so take the stylus select the brush and draw. then apply all the effects that you need.
here is a very good tablet for home users. professionals use bigger and better ones.

The China Map has reached the
‘Final Forge’ Stage. I've revived this thread from the pits of the Foundry furnace and have examined the contents. Nearly every major concern has been addressed. If there are any other current concerns, please make your voice heard. There will be
two days for you to post any objections; if no one has posted any protest
after two days the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play. If after two days there is still discussion going on it may continue until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version.
Post questions and concerns if any.

one thing i've been meaning to ask, I like the look of the mountains now, but maybe a little bit less snow on it. I'd like to see some of the mountain on the south side. not a big deal, but it might be nice

you mean on the green continent side? if that is it then i won't do it, because i wanted to let it look like the green side is higher, but i can make some mountain on the red south side, and take away some snow

I've gotta say I'm not a huge fan of the new mountains. I agree that the old ones didn't really suit the style of the map, but I don't think the new ones are any better. In fact, I think they may be worse. You've got these soft fuzzy mountains when everything else has a nice sharp edge to it.

they may look like it but they are all on the same place in the circle at the same pixel
I think you need to make them all centered not all off center.
What I do for all of my maps is save a LARGE version without circles. I then scale it down to the proper, SMALL version size. I then overlay the large circles on the small map.
It does take longer but then there are no problems. I did 8 Thoughts and Great Lakes like this. There were almost no issues with armies once I did this. It makes the final process much easier.

i don't get what you say.
you have it about the small map, and the problems are on both.
i did get the army numbers from the map maker tool, just to save it to my desktop and when i put the army numbers to the right it is to much to the right, so this is the best option
