The problem is not about whether they are random. They cannot be random. The results are taken from an effing logfile! How can they be random????

The problem is in the delivery.

I challenge you roll two dice 1 million times and NOT come up with 3 pairs of 6's in a row dozens and dozens of times. It's only about a 1/46,000 chance to happen. That is not a rare occurrence with all things considered on this site.

Nikola, the exact same thing happened to me within just the past week. Thank you for offering pictoral proof of this.

Oh, and someone here suggested that we visit Random.org to see things for ourselves. Well, I did, and rolled 3d6 seven times just for fun. On five of the six rerolls (rolls #2 through #7) the exact same number showed up on the exact same die. I'd contend that you could never duplicate that in real life. Oh, I'm sure that if you took three dice, all different colours, that you might get that once, maybe twice, maybe three times on the outside chance - but not five out of six times.

lol I almost said "glad to be of service" ](*,) only good thing about this is that this happened in a game I cant lose

I just felt I needed to share that with everybody, not going to waste my time chating here cuz we all know its useless, nothing will ever be done with dice here no mather how much we bitch about it, so keep on rollin baby...
now back to my games hoping this shit dice week will finnaly end today, cheers guys

The dice here are plenty random, trust me :D I've played games in real life where there has been 3 6's rolled like 5 times in one game by one person, maybe not in a row, but still highly unlikely. I've also seen 2 armies kill 12, 4 guys defend against 10 and have 2 left, I could go on. Hell, I've had a game where I came out 50+ armies ahead of where I should have been :D These were all different games with differnet dice and people. The dice here are just as random, which can be very frustrating to a lot of people, but they are.

I have run into random number issues with mt_rand as well, my situation differed but,

Are you letting the mt_rand seed automatically or using mt_srand to seed the generator?

Rather than using the default seeder, I would suggest using mt_srand and a value that will be different each refresh, like total number of armies plus time or something
(I had issues just using time as the seed, I think this is what the default seeder uses)

mt_srand($player1_total_armies + $player2_total_armies + microtime (TRUE));

The site takes random numbers from random.org. This website generates random numbers based on static in the air.

I'm new to this game, and it seemed rather fun at first.

But it continuously occurs that I lose a lot of troops, that my opponent takes out 2 of my troops, while he doesn't lose any. Somehow, he keeps having better numbers.
I admit that some randomness is needed to keep the game balanced and with some surprise, but this sometimes becomes plain ridiculous.
I mean, how is it possible to go from 11-5 to 5-4? Or from 4-1, to 1-1?
I really think the system should be changed or reviewed, cause I'm getting tired of losing this way, even though I have stronger armies.
For example, in My game 4317522, I've already lost 8 troops, and killed none, while trying to take Bulgaria!

Third game in a row I lose because I cannot get a 3x1 without losing at least twice first.

At least I am on the right site. Only in the true Conquer Club you can have numbers like that and still have people saying the dice are perfect.

Dice may be. The intensity cubes, however....
