There are pro's and cons of peoples free will to have guns in there home but there should be an IQ test for people to own a gun cause we got to many dumb people out there shooting themselves and other people by mistake lol

I don't need to ride a bicycle actually I can't so 2 revs 3 mph in a wheelchair.

I only need to push so it makes moderate sense as you only need to push the wheels of your wheelchair twice to go at a moderate speed

1. No they don't, they just want to make sure that the people with the guns aren't crazy or criminals. Why arm criminals when a 5-day waiting period can let us know who the crazies are to a certain degree?

2. Smoking bans are dumb. 12 out of every 1 million people who are exposed to second hand smoke develop lung cancer. 10 out of every million who aren't exposed to second hand smoke develop lung cancer. The link between cancer and second hand smoke isn't statisically viable. If you don't like the smoke, go someplace else.

3. Well, they're against school vouchers because they're afraid that it would give more money to parochial schools. It's stupid, but there it is. They also don't want parents bailing out of public schools because then public schools have to compete to be better choices.

4. That's all ridiculous. None of that has to do with making anything Godless.

It's about the 4 year old kid who gets beaten up in school for sitting out of the organized prayer.

It's about the fact that Christmas isn't the only holiday celebrated in December.

It's about the fact that most of the 10 commandments aren't laws and as such don't belong in any public building. Besides, putting up the 10 commandments violates the second commandment (Thou shalt not worship any graven images) which is apparently not understood.

And we're fighting an enemy who's religion is mixed with their politics. We've seen what that does. And you want that here?

Yeah, they're liberal media, that's why Dan Rather "retired" over the document/blogosphere scandal. Can you think of a better place for the 10 commandments to be than in a Courtroom.

I've been to 100 different churchs not a single one of them has a display of the 10 commandments why should our courtroom? Wouldn't a chruch be a much better place....

Happy Holidays wasn't a government thing it was actually a thing by most businesses to be sensitive to other beliefs. It has nothing to with the government as far as I've heard. But I'm sure the balanced media of Bill O'Reilly's "War on Christmas"(pointing fingers at THE DAILY SHOW OF ALL SHOWS for starting it) told you different. As far as I'm concerned that made our country more godfull anyways. That way its celebrating everyones gods. Thats like ten times the god.....

Maybe getting off topic a bit here, but, out of sheer curiosity, why do people feel so emotionally attached to their guns in America? I'm a limey, I can remember in 1996 or thereabouts when ALL handguns were summarily made illegal in one fell swoop by the British parliament, and there was hardly a complaint, or at least, no-one cared to listen.

I mean it's not like us redcoats are likely to threaten you anymore, is it?

Guns dont kill people dumb people kill people... THus the IQ thing again i mean come on some people should not own guns... I mean we have to many kids being able to get guns cause there parents dont lock em up or teach them the affect of them DEATH.. Orthe parents out shooting people in traffic for cutting him off!!!!!!

Society is so scared all the time that everyone is in defense mode thats why we have criminals everyone fighting for what they want.. money, socialy acceptence,whatever it may be that they feel will make them bigger better more powerfull whatever the reason ...

But maybe i just see it that way!!!

You say SOME people should not own guns, but apart from farmers, why should ANYONE have a gun? It's not like with knives, for instance - there are plenty of innocent reasons why I should have sharp & serrated knives, but why should anyone, apart from the Army, farmers & gameskeepers, NEED to keep guns?

I totaly agree with you i think it would be safer if only coprs or people who needed them had them but i am also on the other side where its an sport for some people ( hunters) some people do it for means of survival. so i can see where we have let it go to far and now the people who really needed it to begin with now are being fucked for it....
