ASU pulls off the upset of the young season, beating #1 ranked U of A in a fast-paced game. ASU got some good cards, carded up 10 armies in level 3, and never relented, never allowing UA to card up even once. ASU is now 3-1 against top 10 teams this season and is garnering recognition as the sleeper to watch in the PAC-10.

Texas defeats Tech in Big12 conference opener. Bobby Knight was ejected early in the game for complaining about the officiating. He then threatened to take the refs hunting after the game with his friend Dick Chaney.

Alabama beats Kentucky and chants of "we want tubby back" fill the arena. Alabama in the driverseat with a 2-0 SEC record and 6-3 overall. roll tide.

Southern Illinois was fired
up by their coach after the conference preview didn't predict them to win Missouri Valley. Using this as motivation they crushed Northern Iowa. We will see whether they can prove their doubters wrong.
They are thrilled over the win as they did it in front of their fans.

Nice work on the conference previews. Very impressive you take (or have) the time to do that. Very fun. Keep up the great work. This is beginning to rival some of the best run tournaments I have been a part of.

LSU won games 9 & 10 and is now back at 500. I won't be joining games 11 and 12 until I return from a retreat I'm going on this weekend since I don't know if I'll have internet access there.
