But think of this.


Ok so he has an auto start method....this affects his oponents strategy greatly.

1. he is not able to break the bonus and prevent AAL from recieving bonus troops as he would have been able to do had he not had the auto starter.

2. he had to use a different strategy because he didnt know if AAL was gong to take his turn or miss...this forced him to try and plan for a.) AAL dropping and breaking his bonuses(had he chosen to take some)

b.) he could break AAL then end and the AAL would just drop and attack back his bonuses and THEN have the right to start the next turn.

So it seems a very cheap tactic...the fact that AAL did not deploy the troops has no relevance because we see just starting his turn in the way he did affected drunkmonkey's strategy. Also we can say with certainty that he probably does not miss many turns...so him missing again has no relevance on the case as most times he probably does not miss...so him missing was in fact just a dumb move by AAL AND it is what brought his cheating to light...had he not missed drunkmonkey might not have realized what was going on

For the record, I realized what he was doing before the miss (I still realized it too late) - the miss just gave me proof to show others.

where does it stop? weighted button (which it was a script), or is it ok to have 2 weighted buttons? Wait maybe I can do a weighted button then a weighted enter button and deploy them timed right before turn ends. Or we could just say bullshit, hes cheating and stop it here. You start making little exceptions for cheaters (weighted keys are ok) and then where do you stop it? You dont.

You really are fun. I wasn't commenting on the word silly. I was commenting on the fact that you used "an" and not "a" while complaining about someones English. And now you've gone and completely misunderstood what is clear to anyone who speaks English. And while you contend it makes a more clear point...I agree. It makes a clear point that you should not be pointing out mistakes.

As far as being young, and not having an extensive vocabulary which includes the really, really big word "decipherable"...well, today is my B-Day as a matter of fact, and lets just say Ive had plenty of them.

Next time. Take my advice. And next time you want to make fun of someone from another country for having some trouble with their second language...proofread your post first. Or have someone more fluent do it for you.

No little colton. It does no such thing. It actually cost him troops lost cuz he didn't deploy. He would have been better off missing the entire turn. But that would have taken 24 hours to happen. He didn't do that to avoid missing his turn.

You seem to be missing the point. He only missed a turn once, and the game was in the bag at that point. It's been explained several times, and I don't understand why you insist on ignoring the real issue. Not that your opinion matters; it's just irritating.

So it is it fair to say there are 2 questions?

1. Are scripts from outside CC allowed?
2. Is a physical method (e.g holding "b" down with a book) allowed?

I'm making assumptions, pls correct if I'm wrong.
There are no autostart scripts on the CC site.
The available scripts will only start the turn, they cannot deploy.
You need to have that game open - you could not set up autostart for multiple games.

Finally, how would you police this?
Obviously Aal said what happened in this case.
If he had said "no I didn't" (use a book) how could a ruling be made?

I will do my best to answer: The only known script ever to come out on CC like this was the warp script, which basically played for you. It was mothballed at CC's request. Sully800 recommended it in a thread and it was done.

CC encourages people to be playing and not some PC to be playing for you or having something not natural play for you. In this case a block starting. As for having many games open at once, use multiple internet windows for as many games as you have. Most likely in cases like this under 5, but even if 20...

As for policing this, there is only one way to make this practice extinct. You have to rule with an iron fist. There should be no 3 strikes and your out, it should be a 1 and done policy. Maybe a 1 warning then out policy. The only way these cases get known about is to have someone post one like this.

Not true, and not true...

not only can you have a bot take an entire turn for you... but you can set it up to rotate between tabs so that if any of the tabs are prompted that the round has started then it will perform the task you set up...

lucky for CC 99% of the people on here aren't intelligent or patient enough to figure it out...
