It wasn't a freezing Siberian lake but yea I'd take Putin over Obama. I'd probably take any former high ranking KGB guy over Obama. I think the B stands for Badass.

What about the fact that everyone knows Putin is KGB, in both Russia and USA. Couple that with the fact that nobody knows Obama is CIA (in usa anyways) I cant speak for Russia.

In 1812 the British navy had over 600 warships, while the US navy had 17, and we declared war on them. I think President Madison deserves a nod for being bad ass.

LOL. You got to remember it in the political spectrum though. I haven't studied the War Of 1812 (in great detail) for some time but I know we had our grievances and we were not trying to invade GB. It was going to be a war fought in North America. Don't get me wrong though. I'm not saying he was or wasn't a badass. I'm just trying to put it in perspective.

Jack Johnson, Heavyweight Champion of the World in the early 1900s.
In a time when a Black man could be killed for just looking the wrong way at a white man, Johnson was beating the shit out of the best of them. Imagine yourself in a ring with someone trying to put your lights out while the whole fooking stadium is screaming hate at you. Johnson didn't just beat his opponents, he laughed at them while he was doing it. "Hey Mr. Jim, gonna punch you in yo face - you ready?" <BAP!> "Aw Mr. Jim, that sho do hurt now, don't it? Here it come again" <BAP> Lol.
Not only did he beat up their idols, he took their wimminz. Johnson only dated and married white wimminz - this in a day and age when black men were lynched for just looking at a white woman instead of averting their eyes. He'd parade them around in public, sometimes with a woman on each arm. Always smiling and laughing - didn't have to act bad, as he was the fooking epitomy of the word.

Top level bad-asses need to take on something more powerful that men, or armies, or empires. Taking on a central bank with the power to print it's own money (therefore, everything known to man that can be purchased will be against you), now that takes balls.

BTW the "one of the best clerks" remark was from MacArthur not Patton which Eisenhower later retorted "I spent seven years under MacArthur studying dramatics."
