It looks like benga has a decent chance of being our 12th and final qualifier, if he wins Game 8250739. Assuming there are 12 qualifiers, round 2 will be three groups of four.

I'm going to go ahead and assume benga will win his Hive game to keep the tournament moving. If there's a massive turnaround, any games in group 2 involving benga will be voided; however, I don't envision that happening.

benga has 4-2 when he wins the hive... but there are other players with the same results and also 2nd in their group...my question now is... why benga? and not someone of the others?

benga has 4-2 when he wins the hive... but there are other players with the same results and also 2nd in their group...my question now is... why benga? and not someone of the others?

Gromph, AECS: 4-2
benga, AECS: 4-2
MEP, AFCF: 2-4
Woodruff, AECS: 2-4
both me and Gromph advanced from round 1
