Tough talk from Caleb the Cruel

They already challenged me once with tough talk so cowboy and I beat them. Game 314450. It took what? four turns? Caleb blames it on bad dice. Isn't that convenient? Now they want to keep going and going until they finally win a game so that they can gloat. They have such low scores that we only got 11 points for the game. Is it worth my time?

Well actually Killroy reported to me that he had bad rolls. My rolls were decent. But thanks to him having bad rolls, he was quickly killed, leaving me to fend for myself, which usually doesn't work in a team game. So Killroy wanted a rematch, as do I. However Whiteberry seems reluctant to face two low-ranking players, probably due to too much pride.

But if you are truly so great, play us again. Because we obviously did not learn our lesson the first time. :D

I don't think it's too much pride, he just doesn't like team games. Look at this games played, he has like 3 team games. I'll find somebody else to play you if you want.

Caleb, I never said I was a great player. I also have a lot to learn. I just think the players that should teach are the players with scores of 2500 and higher. Not players with less than 1000.

Dice are but one element of chance involved in the game. Original starting position and cards received (both by you and the other players) also have a large effect on the outcome of a game. How many escalating games have been won or lost because someone got a set at the game's tipping point? The number of games it will take a truly good player (or a truly bad one) to reveal themselves is no doubt enormous. Is it 100? 500? Who knows?

In fact, the dice are the element of chance that will even out first, given that there are many times more rolls per game than their are starting positions or cards handed out.

-Edited for typos-

I agree with Maugrim

I agree with Maugrim. Everyone can get lucky rolls and unlucky rolls, lucky cards and unlucky cards. Statistics show that over time it will all even itself out.

LOL you guys are funny, whiteberry is actually one the best triples players I've ever come across, and considering I've teamed up with nearly 100 people, ranging from lieutenants to even brigadiers, that's pretty good.

Remember when threads could go miles off topic without mods coming in, yelling at people and locking it? And then they managed to return to why they started, magically, without any interference. Thank you, shameless thread bumper, for uncovering this relic of simpler times.

And Barry Sanders was the greatest. Hands down.
