New game numbers have been sent to the first teams for the third game of round 1. When those teams have joined, I will notify the second team for the game to join.

From this point on we will be starting a new 1st round game approximately every 3 days until all are active. Then we will let them finish before starting round 2.

I just checked the standings, and my team is in last. But I haven't finished any games. Did they loose prior to my joining the team?

Yes, they had lost before you joined the team. Optimus Prime was playing as a temporary player and you took his spot.
