romance of the three kingdoms is a good story, but has many inaccuracies. so its hard to make it realistic as there isnt a lot of info to work with. i think ur better off making up parts of it for gameplay and keeping the map interesting.

i may jsut add a port in wu that can attack any terr of wei's on the coast. am i correct in saing that wu took pride in there fleet?

i have not come across any records that say wu even had a fleet, the only known fleet was teh powerful wei fleet. perhaps just making a port in a wei and wu tert and having that as ur sea route.
but i want to also shift some focus to shu as its being neglected by out talks of sea routes and the silk road. shu seems to be deadlocked in the west with mountains and is only able to attack from 1 point into wei adn having nearly all its terts exposed in the east.
u might have to look at adding some impassables for shu
ps have u come up with names for that tert in wei and wu that are missing names?

I think you neeed more ways to attack wei from the south and less ways for wu and shu to attack eachother

this map isn't that accurate, i play loads on games based on the three kingdoms era, but still, gimil, another great map, well done.

there is many inaccuracies with the historie of this era. I have done best what i can with what is available to me while still making the map enjoyable.

The only suggestions that I would add are that many places important in Three Kingdoms history are missing on the map! Chibi, Guandu, Hu Lao gate, Jieting, Hefei are all battlefields we would like to enjoy in CC. The Yellow River is missing as well. While it does not play a major role as kingdom divider later in the Three Kingdoms story, it played a major role as barrier when Cao Cao faced against Yuan Shu in Guandu.

that was before the three kingdoms era and therefore makes it irelevent to the maps era.

You continent should be worth 2. Make one of the countries start neutral since it's easy to luck out and begin the game with both countries.

and why exactly should it be worth 2?

Yeah I don't get that either. 1 takes out most of the advantage of starting with it, it's a slight boost but it shouldn't be game changing. 2 would make the problem worse and nobody likes starting neutrals much.
I guess it could be game changing in 1v1, but if we tried to make everyone balance all their maps for 1v1 we'd need to revamp a lot.
Anyway, you're free from Map Ideas now.

gimil,,,just a comment on the borders....on the blues and dark red the borders have that white tinge on the outline.
but is does not show the same on the bright red and light green.
is there anything you can do to correct/amend that?
also on the north eastern border of chang-yang there is a border line that is visible between the two mountains...perhaps just another mountain in there to cover that border would be appropriate?
