Yay, people like me for no particular reason!

I totally know what Dariune means in his original post. Some people just grab your attention, for better or worse, and some people don't. Occasionally I'll see a poster with 5000 posts and think, "Who is this person?" We've been posting in the same forum for a year, but they never made enough of an impression on me to be noticed.

I could never thoroughly list all the people that I particularly like, or hate, or am interested by.

So I'd like to just point out a single NEW poster who's made a very good impression on me:

DARVLAY. Super smart, reasonable, culturally attuned, interesting. I like him.

And I forgot to add Skittles.


Skittles because I love that drunk rampage he went on in the forums. It was so funny. I'm just sorry I didn't get to hear about it until it was over.

Ha well. Truth be told ive for gotten what i was fonna say but Ha!

suggs-seems to make everyone happy and laughing. Can really make good jokes, and i kind to everyone. He always makes people feel...welcome, i should say. My large fuzzy hat is off to you suggs. Suggs has also created the iSuggs (aka the shagamachine)

Daruine-a kind, honest poster that always says smart things. It feels like when he came back, there was a sort of order that settled over IK. i think he is the kindest poster in all of CC.

Its tough. Guiscard and Tonkaed are always thoughful-they seem to have genuine intelligence. (sorry, patronising, but you know what i mean).
Luns because he's living proof that you can be right wing and decent, and i like a good paradox.
All the women, as they are all gorgeous. But Mandy seems the nicest

Heavycola probably the genuine comedy talent.

But, because he is just by far and away the best writer, combining devestating and OIGINAL wit, cool stuff, and thought provoking stuff,
DANCING MUSTARD has to win it by a mile.

I must say, i tend not to read extremely long posts in unimportant threads (haha, like there are important threads on a risk site!) but i always read all of DM's post no matter how long. Sometimes i re-read them....but i dont get too much more obsessive.

muy thaiguy, just for being an all-around great guy. Smart and a good sense of humor when it's appropriate

b.k. really makes me laugh. I lurk in flame wars every now and then just to read his posts. Ditto with DM.

luns, daddy1gringo, Crazy Anglican, and Mr. Nate all fall into the same category of "smart, insightful adults with good advice and good humor."

Neutrino, Neoteny, flashleg, and Guiscard are just fun to talk science, history, religion, etc with.

And loads more but it's lunch time and i am starving. I came down on the sleeper from inverness this morning and the breakfast they hand you in yoru cabin is woeful. Woeful. Plus I spent too much time/money in the fucking lounge car drinking cans of sleeping potion before retiring to my nylon-swathed plank, and as a result have an entirely disproportionate and unfair hangover.
