Has there been some sort of test to ensure that the cc scripts/stuff/whatever-the-hell-the-technical-term-is works with this safari 'creammonkey'? (good god what a horrific choice of names, but whatever)

The site warned that some scripts written for firefox may not work.

Plus, creammonkey looks like it's still in beta, which always gives me a bit of pause.

Basically, I don't want to be the first person into the pool and am curious if someone else has gotten it to work.

And call me crazy, but I like safari, and I don't see the point in using firefox for just one website (addictive as said website may be)

I think you're the first, Incandenza. Let us know how it goes :)

Lovely.

A paranoid borderline-Luddite with a malignant bioelectric aura gets to take the plunge. If I'm lucky, all it'll do is light my computer on fire. If I'm unlucky, it could undo the universe as we know it.

A glance at the guy's website eases my paranoia a bit, as it appears that he's written a bunch of other utilities for macs.

Hey reverend, just out of idle curiosity, how'd you hear about this guy/utility?

Maybe I'm just not doing it properly.

I downloaded the creammonkey thing. I installed it as indicated. I restarted safari. I installed troy's basic greasemonkey script. I restarted safari. And now I see nothing different.

Have I missed a crucial step?

On the plus side, I can cautiously say that creammonkey does not cause fires or matter-antimatter interaction.

you been to the my games page?

I have indeed been to the my games page, and have checked on several games, yet there is no change in the information being presented. One thing that occurs to me is that I haven't installed an RSS reader, but since I'm a retard about technology I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

I doubt it would, I recommend you download a different greasemonkey user script you think would be useful, to test and see if it works, and maybe troy will work on making his script more compatible if it is the problem.

The only other useful item (I believe it was the stickynote thing) (useful as far as I'm concerned, not to disparage anyone's work, of course) was firefox-only...

I would hesitate to ask anyone to put in time modifying the greasemonkey script for safari, as I'd assume that the number of mac users on this site is 20% or less, and many of them have already switched over to firefox.

Whatever. If the safari version can be made to work, excellent. If not, I can count. :D

Plus, I'm pretty good at this risk thing, having been playing in some form or another for nigh on two decades. And 100% of that experience has come without fancy add-ons.

Is your monkey smiling or frowning?

In firefox, you can click on the monkey icon to disable it (i.e. make it grey and frowning) and click again to turn it on.

Card Counter

Why not include an automatic count of everyone's cards? You can figure it out from reading through the game log anyway. It's just a pain in the neck as it stands!

I want it my Greasemonkey doesn't work and so on I don't want to have to download a feature that I would know on the board game O.K maybe dice analyser but that isn't really necessary
