I will give this at least another week to fill up, but if it doesn't we can proceed with 12 teams just as easy as we can with 16. We have got enough teams signed up to guarantee the tournament. Will continue to update as people join.

I have also had to use reserves for team 10.
It was originally: Anarkistsdream, the_lion, TheProwler and El Capitan X
I got an email informing me that the_lion and TheProwler have been banned.

I am using the following reserves to fill that team:

I was hoping I could call in a favor on Bonsaimurderess but she already had two games going so couldn't take on the load.

I am happy to say that all the first four games are well underway. We got off to a rocky start but now everyone is on their way toward peeling Aunt Myrtle's taters!

All games are still progressing nicely.

Team 14 is our first team to contribute 5 beautiful peeled taters into Aunt Myrtle's pot!!!

All games are active. Teams are furiously working to get those pots loaded up. So far only one team has finished a game. Will continue to update on a regular basis.

Congratulations to team 14 for ANOTHER win! That makes 10 peeled taters their team has put into Aunt Myrtle's pot! Wow!
Unfortunately they beat me and my teammates in this game.

At the end of the game I jokingly told them they could leave some taters for the rest of us to peel.

Very amusing comment from pedronicus (just had to share it): Pedronicus: You have been, skinned, par boiled, blanched, flash fried, then mashed. In the world of the potatoe, we are tuber kings. The King Edwards of the vegetable stall! good game guys. We are saving the tomato ketchup for red.

Well....well.....well.....this has been quite a tater rout thus far! Congratulations to team 14 on another win! Your team has contributed another five taters to Aunt Myrtle's pot! That makes a total of 15 for your team!
Aunt Myrtle was so excited when she heard that she jumped out of that rocker like a whip (totally forgot about the arthritis in her hips and legs) and proceeded to fall right on her behind. Will be on bed rest for a while, but I left her with a bullhorn to cheer on the teams and the rest will leave her in prime condition to make that recipe for the reunion when it is time!

we might be slow but we peel properly.

Is there any chance at this late stage in the tournament to include some other 'Large' maps that are pretty straightforward bonus wise?

NYC has 80 territories
Pearl Harbor has 72 territories
Texan Wars has 57 territories
Cairns Coral Coast has 60 territories

Maps that are already included are...
CCU has 44
Arctic has 48
Great Lakes has 48

I think the larger maps give a better game when 8 players are on the map.
