He can't be that bright if he keeps posting about political issues when he has been warned repeatedly to stop. I don't know why people keep arguing that it was acceptable for him to go against what the mods said. If someone breaks the law, he gets punished. If you have a problem with the punishment, don't break the law and complain to the lawmakers to get the law changed. The way he handled the forum guidelines was immature and deserving of a permaban.

And thats why 67.27% of the CC population that KNOW him have voted in favour of his re-instatement. Very unpopular indeed (source: above poll^)
Figures for reinstatement
Yes - 34, under supervision 3 total 37
No- 18 total 18
I am trying to see your logic here? I hope when you umpire, that you are not so biased against those you do not like.

Xtra's political and conspiratorial view points were offensive to some, perhaps not to you, but to a small group that ended up getting Mod Powers. Xtra believes so strongly in his politics and 9-11 Truth, that he made it a point to always have the subjects on the board. Some (not all) people hated seeing that...
The way I see it, that counts as spamming. If others are letting threads die down whereas one person is continually making new posts or new threads on the same subject, that's spamming up the forum.
You don't understand. The threads were related but had different subjects. Not spamming in my opinion. If you consider Xtra's posts spamming than you also have to consider people talking about sports spamming.
I'm all for letting xtra back in (I voted yes on the poll) but I have a bone to pick with this... Yes, xtra's posts were related, but had different subjects IS true. But, so would creating a thread about every single dog species. He had to tone it down. Way down. Keep it to a few, broader threads. If they got enough posts and too many topics were being discussed by too many people to warrant more threads on more focused subjects, then by all means he could have made more threads. But the way it was was too much. His threads weren't getting very far at all and he was constantly creating others dealing with
virtually the same topics. Working off of my dog analogy... There's a thread called dogs. Lots and lots of people are posting in this thread, talking about mainly Labs, and Poodles and then a few who are talking about a mishmash of other species. So, then, to keep things organized a bit more, they make a thread JUST for Labs and another JUST for Poodles, and the people who are talking about a mishmash of other dog species stay in the original thread, as it's about all dogs. Know what I mean?

The people that voted no really hated him. In general it is too small a sample size.

I won't argue with you there Beastly, but isn't it the same as the other "humans" who post in flame wars? Almost all that is written there is repeated time and time again by the same people

Ok, so 21 people have voted no in over 1 month.. that tells me that he really isnt hated anymore than somebody like yourself
or that most of the people that "really hate" him have left the site.

I think that the pole speaks for it's self, @ times maybe his wording is a bit harsh, but on the other hand the other partie probrably deserved it or was even looking for it! Let him regain his original status as many people support him (myself inlcuded). After all he is also premium and is not enjoying the full benefits of this club.

I love old DaG, but i think most people voting 'yes' must not remember the monotony of Xtra's irrepressible xenophobia.

...and I believe in not letting prolific racists, bigots, spammers and trolls back into the forum. Xtra contributed nothing to this forum and did nothing but spam and bump his own threads while flagrantly trolling other users who disagreed with his constant paranoid racism.
Good riddance to the very worst kind of rubbish; banning Xtra was one of the best decisions the mods here ever made, the only fly in the ointment is that they didn't do it sooner.

Hello Azezzo, Mustard certainly does not require my assistance, but i am not sure you comprehend the dribble which oozed into every crevice of the forums whilst Xtra was here. He was a character to begin with, i agreed with nothing he said but i do not have to to find sport in an adversary.
Sure he added life and another view to proceedings. And i am quite a strong proponent of the theory that says: allow idiots as much space as they want to air their views. That way more people can assess their fundamental stupidity and lack of cohesive argument.
Due to Xtras thick skin and indefatigability, It became a perpetual struggle between logic and prejudice.
Eventually the forums were so clogged up with repetition and spite that the fires of banality threatened to engulf the prevailing ideology.
I think your oppinion is merely based in theory not the experience.

jiminski, i respect your response, and in theory, i support freedom of speech and the use thereof
an idiots rants, (mine included), are still only words and as inflammatory as they may be, an idiot has the right to speak.
remember the saying, "sticks and stones"
i can choose to change the tv station, or not read something written by someone i normally disagree with.
i dont care for howard stern or rush limbaugh, so i dont tune in to those radio shows.
BUT even a retarded, opinionated, moron ocasionally says something useful.

I agree almost 100%, .. but you had to see it to believe it.
In his pursuit of conveying his point he became a selfish background yell.. it was not unavoidable, it was not possible to turn over the TV.
In fact so all encompassing were his guerrilla posting activities that the only way to turn the TV over was to not visit the CC Forums!
Well i believe in freedom of speech, truly I do and not just as a clever theoretical construct to bandy around at dinner parties .. i am one of the few people who would actually die for its sanctity. .. but! But when a man follows you around shouting and spitting wanker in you face, for 4 months solid (Due to some strange need to win a battle of wills) eventually it becomes tiresome and you are going to have the pillock arrested for harassment.
Now i quite like the word 'wanker' and names certainly do not hurt me... but there is a line where acceptable social interaction is toyed with to the extent of unacceptability. At this point; a carefully constructed mockery of status quo becomes a weapon against the entirely passive.
At this point all the schoolyard learned strategies 'to beat the bully' become irrelevant. At this point the Bully, reveling in his place outside the realm of what is beneath us, deserves a punch on the nose.... now i am a passivist so i am glad that there is recourse outside of physical retribution.

nice to have an intelligent conversation, with give and take.
wanker, wanker, wanker, i'm traumatized by your use of the word........................................yah, right
i admit to being somewhat of a newcomer to the forums, wasnt exposed to 4 months of assault, but from what i have read, and understand, he, xtratabasco was banned for being a racist, bigot, etc. but i dont believe he is, nor did he xpress those views, that i know of. YES, he did time after time go after illegal immigrants, quite vocally, but here in the USA that doesnt qualify as bigotry or racist, our elected politicians take stands on this issue, for and against. Hell the U.S. is building a wall between the U.S. and Mexico, to try and close the border.
ILLEGAL IMIGRANTS are not welcome here in the U.S. period.!
but thats diferrent from every nationality who comes here legally, my grandparents did it.
anyways, not trying to rant, if xtratabasco broke the rules, he has been punched in the nose as you put it, he deserves a parole, a work release even, hell, put him on a short leash and see if hes been rehabilitated, if he realizes that he cant get away with being a wanker.
