I posted a username I found offensive a long time ago, and I got laughed at. But because some bitch ass people decided titty twisters is sexist against women, even though it happens to BOTH genders and is exclusive to neither, it gets blocked?

I personally have always been under the opinion that this should not be, it shuld be ok for girls to be topless if guys can be, in fact the only reason 99.99% of guys find brests as a turn on is because they are 'shamefull' If it was natural for girls to leave brests exposed as men do, no problems like this would ever happen, unfortunately the thought of "oh my god women have BOOBS?!?!?!? Ive said this in a couple other posts concerning this sort of thing, you cannot start limiting names of things, If you deem one thing offensive you must deem EVERYTHING offensive, its an all or nothing world, you cannot be selective in that, if someone finds titty offensive, someone finds ballz offensive, someone further finds 'spanking' offensive, and it goes on and on someone finds the word 'dead' offensive because of a recent loss, 'assassin' offensive because of MLK or JFK, terminator offensive because the movie was rated R... You cannot limit things on the site, because when one goes, they all go, simple as that... In this topic you cannot afford to pick and choose

Answer to the poll question: No, I don't think it's acceptable. Now ask me if I think Ball Busterz is acceptable. Or any of the other names that have been questioned so far. And ask me if I think the admin should be taking action over this unacceptable name after setting a precedent of ignoring other highly questionable names. Decorum is most valuable when enforced in an even-handed manner.

You addressed the part of my post that was my own opinion, not fact, so ill leave that unresponded to you,

but no reply to the other part... something about a slippery slope? do you disagree in that when you start banning some, everything must go? If you start banning those that might have some kind of sexual condination, then you MUST go forth and remove half the clans on the same cause, same goes for usernames, a large number of possibly semi-perverse names in nature would be gone just because of the thought that they might somewhare offend someone. again, its all or nothing, and id far perfer all, in this instance people can police themselves, rather then us having to ban half the site

Risky_Stud, I'm not sure what you're asking me. No, I don't find either name acceptable. I also don't think that my opinion should determine site policy. Nor should the single opinion of any other site user, or even the massed opinions of every site user... only lack's opinion sets site policy. You find it acceptable? Great. You don't? Great. Doesn't matter either way. I think it's a mistake to act on one name and not the other, but again, that's just my opinion... not really important for purposes of site policy. Neither is yours, or anyone else who has posted... with the possible exception of king_achilles, since lack has given him a certain amount of authority.
