Is this tournament dead?

No it is not dead. I will have games in the next week. My busy schedule has delayed it.

Now, I also have a major issue that I have no idea how it occurred. I lost my spreadsheet. Somehow deleted it.

I need to simplify this so I will be sending a pm that it will be the same, but listing games by day will be done away with.

I will remake the schedule and it will be the same but I will send games out in groups to make it easier.

I will work on this on Monday and get games out that same day.

Okay everyone, here is the deal:

1. My real life became real busy.
2. My CC became out of control running 20 active tourneys and 250 active games. (talk about addicted)
3. I deleted the spreadsheet for this tournament with the hours of work I put into it.

With all of this in mind I want to just simplify this tourney so that it does not take too much time. Everything stays the same, but I will simplify keeping records to wins and loses instead of keeping track of everything.

I hope this is ok with everyone. Please respond if you want to drop, but I hope everyone stays in the tourney.

What I will do is start releasing more games. Almost all non conference games are complete now with about 3 to go. What I will do is send about 4-6 games out each week all in one shot. It will make it a lot easier for me and will make the tourney run smoother. I have scheduled time tonight to make a new spreadsheet and get the games out.

I am sorry for what has happened to this tourney as I had high hopes for it being the best ever. I do think it can still be a very good tourney and continued league, but I really don't have all the time to put towards it as I had hoped for.

Well here is an updated status

I am way too busy to re-create spreadsheets with the big schedule and go over the games.

I still want to finish this season and also understand if anyone want to drop out.

I am down under 12 active tourneys so I am getting closer.

If you feel like sticking it out I will complete this tourney-if not pm me

It is summer time which is my real busy season of work

Life is really busy now--I hope to get all my tourneys back on track early next week. Working way too many hours right now.

Ok so my real life has been way too busy-if I cannot get this going in the next two weeks I will cancel it. I am real sorry.

Numerous things have delayed me in finishing some of my tournies including laziness. I am going to have games out on all 7 of my remaining tournies by this Monday night.

Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks for the patience.

I will only run three tourneys at a time from now on once all of these are caught up.

I did find the spreadsheet for this so I can continue.

Still not finding the time for this tourney. I do not have my child this weekend so if I don't get it back and running I will cancel it.

I am getting this going again.

I was going to drop it as it takes too much time and I have been unable or unwilling to do it, but I feel I can do it.

There may be some drop outs, but we shall see when I get the games out later today

I know this is the saddest attempt I have had as a tourney director. Since moving I still can't find my thumb drive with the spreadsheet I have for this tourney. I am thinking I want to complete it although some people may be gone or not interested in finishing. Of course I would completely understand why. I seem to be really organized on all my other tourneys so it is just a matter of getting this one back on track. I will get it going soon (knock on wood)

I do want to continue it but I need the time to get it restarted and when I do restart I want to send games twice a week--4 games total and keep it updated.

Why is it not possible to re-create the spreadsheet? Can it not be rebuilt from the image in the first post and the games that have been completed? All the information for the tournament should be provided in the first post.

Call it dead. There hasn't been a game played in over 9 months. No updates, despite many "I'll do it this weekend"s from the TO.
