Don't you religious types feel as though God has made us humans seem very meaningless? If we were so important, wouldn't the Earth be the center of the universe and have everything revolve around us? Why bother with this ridiculous setup of Earth being just another planet that revolves around a star.

If there is a God, he must have some other people on other planets, agreed?

My belief is that going to church does not make you a Christian. Nor does being a member of a "church". Hes right of course. We all saw god part the sea. Steal Adams rib, and plant all the plants before creating the Sun. This has been proven and is in no way laughable. The idea of small changes taking place over millions of years, which we actually can see the results of, and see plenty of evidence of...yeah...thats whats laughable. :roll:

Luckilly, the christians that taught and raised me weren't the close minded, type, and focused on the teachings of Christ, and not the contradictory, highly suspicious, and scientifically impossible few passages in the bible.

It is amazing that you cant believe that a slow process could take place, but that plants could survive on earth for 24 hours, or even better that the earth wouldnt crumble after a star with immense gravity was "created next to it"...this is not laughable....

Further, the idea that there was no death until adam and eve sinned is not laughable. There were dinosaurs, plants, and bacteria, viruses, and fish all living in perfect harmony. They needed no food because they could not eat, for the bible says there was no death, so it must be true. I wonder if all the animals were sitting around getting ready to pounce for their first meal ever, as they saw adam take his first bite. An ant about to take a bite of a leaf, a spider ready to eat the and, a rabbit about to eat the leaf and both the spider and the and, a teridactyle about to eat the rabbit, a mountain lion about to grab the terrydactyle, a velociraptor about to eat the mountain lion, and a Trex about to snag the velociraptor.... just waiting for their first meal, because as the bible says...there was no death until they ate from the tree. Not laughable at all.

A process occuring in nature that we can see evidence of, and that makes sence in the most basic of way...yes...that is laughable... :lol:

I have it right here...
MONDAY: (cue music from 24: Earth spawns.
TUESDAY: WATER. easy enough... I asked micheal to fill up a pitcher, and I just poured it right in.
WEDNESDAY: LAND. Easy enough again...just poked some holes and the lava shot right out... there was no sun, so it turned into the various types of rocks real quick.
THURSDAY: Plants. Jesus was nagging me all day long that I should make the sun first, but I didnt listen.
FRIDAY: The heavens. The plants were really happy with this one...they were friggin freezing. This was a tough one though. I should have listened to jesus, but hey, Im God. Wednesday was easy...I made a few plants...threw out some seeds. But today... i created the rest of the universe. Billions and billions of stars, suns, nebulae planets, etc. I should have taken the sabbath on THURSDAY instead. It wasnt as hard as youd think though... alot of it I just copy and pasted.
SATURDAY: CREATED MAN. easiest day yet. 99% the same as a chimp, and I tossed in a soul, and gave him a little more brain power. I even just copied my likeness to save some time...besides I used up all my creativity with the dinosaurs and the platipus.
SUNDAY: Went to tahiti. "I did a hell of a job on this one. It is good. Very good"

Have fun kids, Im out of here. Oh, and by the way, Im gonna torch this place if you dont do what I ask. Im good, but not that good.

This is all proven too. The scientific evidence we have shows this is all possible, and the most likely solution. I dont know what you other scientists are doing. Why even investigate it in the first place really...I mean God already went through the trouble of writing it all down for us. Why even question it?

Seems silly to me that atheists always claim game, set and match whenever they point out impossibilities in the bible.

Evangelicals and their "sola scriptura" are not the only ones that believe in God, in fact they make a up a pretty small percentage of the God believing population.

I certainly don't need a bible to tell me that there is an architect behind all of this, to me it's just obvious.

Why is it so hard to accept that there might be a higher order of intelligence, one that has the ability and knowledge that allows them to create space and time?
