Right... so why, when I email you to tell you how you could make a ton of money from this place do you reply once and then essentially forget about it?

Seriously, is this a business to you people or not because raking in a couple of hundred thousand dollars a year in subs is just not cutting it from a business perspective?

Your money though.
I ran a company as well , clients were all blue chip , when I showed them how to save money they listened, when I talked crap they tended to ignore me...... :D

PS I confess that when I was ignored I never had pissy fits and started hurling my toys out of my pram......guess unlike you I was just not a very good businessman

Seriously listen to me now.
I'm tempted to say you lost me here, but I love the arrogance and I love the cocky so I had to read more. Good job on captivating me. You must be in marketing?
I own my own company. It is a software company. My clients include Governments and Blue chips. Okay?
Ok... not marketing but you own your own company. Good stuff. Do you manage it? "Owning" a company can involve the timely management of it or simply owning the shares and collecting the income every so often right?

Right... so why, when I email you to tell you how you could make a ton of money from this place do you reply once and then essentially forget about it?
Did you get a message back saying: "Sorry, we would have responded sooner but we forgot."? Did you message the appropriate person? If so... I'm sure you can understand that owners of companies and sites have alot to do. Being an owner of a software compnay catering to Governments and Blue chips, this should be easy to understand.
Seriously, is this a business to you people or not because raking in a couple of hundred thousand dollars a year in subs is just not cutting it from a business perspective?
Now you listen to me hun. Understand the principles of entrepreneurship. Different companies focus on different aspects of growth. Whether you open a massive global business or a "cottage" business, it depends on the owner/operator. I'm sure the owner of this site has plans for its growth. If you have an idea, by all means speak to him but do not put a thread designed to ridicule the owner of this site in public forums. It's a horrible idea.
Your money though.
Interesting. Please don't tell me you asked the owner of this site to hand over money or any other form of value in exchange for your services. See... I'm always skeptical about these things. "You can make alot of money" sounds great, but that's only half the story if you are "requiring something from them" before they can get a return.

Don't take anything personal. If infact you do have a good business proposition for Lackattack, I'm sure he'd be glad to hear it, if however, your proposition is not in lign with what he is planning for his site or where he wants to take it, that is fine too. I'm deeply interested in being a capital investor but you need to understand the difference between proposing an idea and making a sales call.

Good idea, but you need to spruce up your web page a bit, please. How much are you looking for, what is the projected return on investment, do you have a marketing plan?

When you are serious let me know.

This thread reminds me of an email I got a ways back. It looks legit; I mean it's impossible to make up something like this.

My name is Sgt Frank, I am an American soldier, serving in the military with the army's 3rd infantry division. With a very desperate need for assistance, I have summed up courage to contact you. I found your contact particulars in an address journal. I am seeking your kind assistance to move the sum of ( USD 85 million ) Eighty Five million united states dollars to you, as far as I can be assured that my share will be safe in your care until I complete my service here, this is no stolen money, and there are no danger involved..

Source of money: The money belonged to Cpl. Dustin R. Brisky, 26, of Round Rock, Texas , died June 4 in Tallil , Iraq , of wounds suffered from an explosion. He was assigned to the Army Reserve┬ 952nd Engineer Company, Paris , Texas . The unit was attached to the 92nd Engineer Battalion, 3rd Sustainment Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, and Fort Stewart , Ga. This money was part of his share from the money they discovered in barrels at a farmhouse near one of Saddam's old palaces in Tikrit , Iraq during a rescue operation. He was hoping to move the money out of Iraq before he died. I was attending to him when he confided in me and told me about the money. His last wish was that I should help him make arrangement to move the money out of Iraq and then contact you to receive it so that you can Invest into Real Estate and other Profitable Ventures that will uplift and profit humanity and mankind.

With the help of a British contact working here, whose office enjoys immunity, I was able to get the package out of Iraq to the United Kingdom where it is quite safe. Now the British contact does not know the real contents of the package. She believes that they are personal valued properties of the late Dustin Brisky who trusted me to hand over the package to his family before he died. Now I have just found a very secured way of delivering this package to you without any problems. Now I have agree to do this with you which I will want you to keep it highly confidential between the both of us, and I have decided to split the money this way, 40% goes to Real Estates and, 25% for you, 25% for me while 10% will be map out for expenses inquired during the process of receiving the funds by you.. I will discuss this with you when I receive your response to this mail assuring me of your willingness and capability to handle this safely and disburse the money as instructed by the late collegue.

Please I want you to keep this matter absolutely confidential as any leakage of this information will be too bad for those of us serving in Iraq. I do not know how long we will still be here in Iraq , but whatever happens, I will be in constant touch with you.

Remain blessed as I await your urgent response to this mail: sgt.frank101@gmail.com

Sgt. Frank

Upon further communication I sent him my 50 USD and I'm just waiting for him to send me the 85 Mil. I'm sure he's is working on it even though it has been over 3 months. These things take time when your in a situation such as his. ;)

But I was serious. You sound like a very wise business person. I didn't even know about words like return on investment, and marketing plan. Perhaps you could help me put together some more big words so that I will be successful. Oh and I'll need that credit card number. : )

Big words can make anything sound successful.

That and frequent use of unrestricted funding will make it look successful!

So what was that credit card number again?

I received this some time back. Naturally I did all I could to help.
Dear one,

It is my pleasure to contact you for a business venture which I intend to establish for our mutual benefits hence I write with due respect and blessings.

I need to ask you to support this urgent secret business relationship with a transfer of funds of great magnitude. I am writing to you at the suggestion of a business acquaintance of one of our members; he felt you would be a respectable person and God fearing to do the business with.

I am Ministry of the Treasury of the Republic of America. My country has crisis that has caused the need for large transfer of funds of 800 billion dollars US. If you would assist me in this transfer, it would be most profitable to you.

I wish to request for your assistance in transferring and investing this money in a lucrative venture under your directives and guidance in your country.

I want you to assist me for the transfer of this sum of Eight hundred billion United State Dollars to an account designate hence I will give you the contact of the bank where the money is so that you can contact them immediately and discuss with them since I do not know much about financial issues.

We need the funds as quickly as possible. We cannot directly transfer these funds in the names of our close friends because we are constantly under surveillance. My family lawyer advised me that I should look for a reliable and trustworthy person who will act as next of kin so the funds can be transferred.

I will give you some reasonable percentage from the total sum for your assistance while I pray that you do not betray me at last. Please it is important you contact me immediately for more clarifications on the next step hence it is my wish to relocate to your country as soon as this transaction is concluded.

LET HONESTY AND TRUST BE OUR WATCHWORD THROUGHOUT THIS TRANSACTION AND YOUR PROMPT REPLY WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED.

Awaiting your immediate response via this email address: wallstreetbailoutblessyou@treasury.gov

God bless you.
Yours Faithfully,

Minister of Treasury Paulson

Well we'll split the profits even. We should make billions, I mean how can a business called pets.com not make money. I can't believe that nobody thought of it before.
