Wes Craven was the first thing to come to mind with 'shock horror' having been mentioned (especially with 'Last House' being his directorial debut and all) but neither of these shots resemble it =P (though, if you want to get technical, last house is more of the 70s horror-exploitation than shock)

And of course I was referring to Crystal Skulls being the atrocity.
