Phatscotty- Check both your history and philosophy, please. For one, the word "libertarian" wasn't used in a political context until Joseph Déjacque (an anarcho-communist) and Pierre-Joseph Proudhon (a mutualist anarchist) exchanged open letters in the mid 19th century, as a means to evade the French ban on anarchist literature (prior to this, the word "libertarian" was used in a metaphysical context within the discourse between free will and determinism). It wasn't until the late 20th century with the creation of the LP did the term become co-opted by pro-government types and begin to take on a different, perverted meaning divorced from its classical, original, and philosophically sound basis.

Secondly, and arguably more importantly, the LP is not a libertarian organization in the slightest, and no self-respecting libertarian would identify with the LP.

Libertarians = liberty in it's extremes. It is impossible to seriously try to focus a 2010 snapshot of a Libertarian and juxtapose that unto GWash. I just kinda posted it

Jsyk, yesterday, er...this morning (because I didn't "go to bed" until like 2), I dreamt about eating raisinettes...and then I woke up, and I could literally taste them. I could taste them up until after my psych class.
