Thank fook for today...finally pompey
score at home with a 3-1 stomping of Derby, after failing to do so in their previous 6 home games.....the last game before today we scored at home, was when we beat reading 7-4...
Benjani scores a hatrick.....luckily Zimbabwe didnt qualify for the African nations cup, so he won't be leaving us over that period
Swansea look good for promotion to the championship. Havant and waterlooville (my most local footy team, who I played for at youth level) Go up to anfield next week to meet the mighty reds of Liverpool, in the FA Cup... a team 6 divisions above them.
Man City managing to stay with the top 6 hunting pack...maybe a uefa cup spot on the cards for opur resident drunken-monkey DAZ....so next season, when Daz is off watching Man city getting beaten by some estonian team, I will be courting his missus

You are feeling pretty lucky that Zimbabwe didn't qualify for African Cup of Nations?

Hehe, I would settle for that

Certainly..it really is that slight advantage that we have needed to get past the hang-over of christmas...I couldnt believe that we had won 7 away games on the trot, yet fail to score in 6 successive home games...But Benjani broke that duck for us, and I'm looking to a Euro spot..hopefully
How are Dinamo doing over your end?

First in league (thanks to Modrić) with 12 points more than the second. But now there's a winter break and new transfer period here, so it's pretty much boring.

well we need a bit of luck now and again. to beat us, just score one more than us.
Rangers 4 points clear at the top in Scotland. it's all good.

Build a Bonfire,
Build a Bonfire,
Put the Geordies on the top,
Put the Mackems in the middle,
And we'll burn the fucking lot.

FA Cup 4th Round coming up, if you're team has been knocked out, who will you be supporting? Cmon Havant and Waterlooville!
Sheffield Wednesday was unfortunately knocked out a few days ago by some lowly team in the Premiership, that won't reach double figures points come May.
DAZ, you will be my greatest hero if your team can beat Sheffield United, you did it to us last year, the least you can do is to knock out the other third of Sheffield.
