This is an extremely good point. Based upon Mandalorian's role, we know that there is at least one other scum group (the SK cult) out there. So, there is absolutely no point whatsoever in lynching a player who cannot win.

Syzygy claimed he got an innocent result on me, which means he is not paranoid. It is possible he's scum faking it, however.

Actually, I have my own theory regarding the way this game works; going by that, I'm pretty sure Aries actually is scum, especially after his OMGUS vote.

By the definition of Paranoid Cop, it is impossible that Syzygy is paranoid because he cleared Aimless. Paranoid means that he only gets guilty results. Insane? Maybe. Miller? Maybe. Who knows but Fircoal.
