Pikachu was really hard to use, u basically had to catch a caterpie and evolve it to get past the first gym

ok my level 15 pikachu would die in like 3 or 4 hits and do like no damage, that made it really hard.

yeah, but I like instant gratification, I would be all like Vine whip or Water gun, but with pikachu it was like tackle, and please to more than like 5 damage.

That's why you would capture a Nidoran (SP) (Male or female), and then use horn attack on them.

And Fircoal, if you don't evolve the starter pokemon, do they still get all the good moves, like with Squirtle, would he still get hydro pump, like Blastoise?
