Soldiers of the Qassam Brigades have released the first tranche of their guests in exchange for Israel's agreement to release Palestinian hostages. Israel is prohibiting media from interviewing the guests as they don't want the truth to come out about how they were treated quite well.

Nice video by this Israeli Jewish travel vlogger from 2022. He was doing a travel vlog from Ramallah in the West Bank and found himself without money for a hotel so he tried to sleep in a field but Palestinian children warned him it was dangerous because of scorpions. So he stopped by a mosque and they let him sleep there for free.
If a Palestinian from the West Bank were in Israel (which wouldn't happen since the IBP will open fire on a Palestinian approaching the control barrier) and stopped by a synagogue and asked to sleep there, the Israeli Border Police would be immediately called and he'd be placed under preventative detention without trial. Israel would then drone strike whatever elementary school the Palestinian attended as a child because it's being used to educate border crossers. After they vaporized Mrs. Abadi's 3rd grade class they'd announce they were unfortunate human shields Mrs. Abadi had surrounded herself with and Israel had a right to defend itself.

You realize that military service is mandatory in Israel with only a few exceptions for religion or health.
Therefore any hostage, over the age of 18, taken by Hamas would be current “or former” soldiers of the Israeli military.
So you are now claiming a 65yo woman and grandmother who hasn’t served in over 40years is not considered a civilian.
What your stat really shows is that 20% of the hostages taken by Hamas at gunpoint were minors.
