the lads are moving up, no way are we going down now. With richardson and edwards coming back to fitness i can't see anything to worry about.
The 5 year plan is still on to get a massive club like us back where we belong.

So Capello names his first England squad..
Goalkeepers: David James, Scott Carson, Chris Kirkland.
Defenders: Wayne Bridge, Rio Ferdinand, Curtis Davies, Nicky Shorey, Glen Johnson, Ledley King, Joleon Lescott, Jonatahan Woodgate, Ashley Cole, Micah Richards, Matthew Upson, Wes Brown.
Midfielders: Michael Carrick, Jermaine Jenas, Ashley Young, David Bentley, Steven Gerrard, Gareth Barry, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Joe Cole, Owen Hargreaves, Stewart Downing.
Forwards: Gabriel Agbonlahor, Peter Crouch, Emile Heskey, Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney.
No Lampard or Robinson- for the best methinks

You're definitely right about Robinson but I'm not so sure about dropping Lampard and Beckham - underperforming maybe but still among the best. Then again, maybe they need a kick up the arse to get them going. Then again, again, I couldn't give 2 shits about how England do - I hope they crash and burn... AGAIN, while NI sail in World Cup 2010 (perhaps a bit unlikely but still - you never know...

But did anyone else see Ronaldo's freekick last night? How good was that? I don't think he's the best the Premiership's ever seen, as some have suggested (Henry still holds that title for me, even though I'm a United fan, or maybe Cantona) but he's not far off. I think we're starting to look quite unstoppable - Arsenal will struggle to keep up

bleeding hell, it said they ran out of time to sign Benjani, but the FA are looking into it to see if we can still sign him as 90% of the paper work was done.

now we have only Darius Vassel(who could not score in a brothel),Mpenza(struggling for consistency when playing),Daniel Sturridge(score 2 goals in last 2 matches, but only 18) and a 19 year old Ecuadorian called Ceicado(spelling) who i doubt anyone has heard off and at 5.2 million i'm a bit worried.
we spent 8million on Bianchi(might get 5 for him in summer), 6million on Samaras(might get 2 for him) and 4million on Dabo(lucky if we get 1 for him). Frank is not going to put up with that for much longer.

Bianchi is an awesome player, trust me. He just isnt fitting in. Samaras is okay, but not the class you need.

Ouch, mixed reactions about that. I do hope Beckham gets his 100th cap though, he's more than earnt it.

Beckham may have been a great player, but he's past him prime now and I am not suprised that he would be left off the squad. I do have a bit of a grudge against him because he almost ruined football for me this summer by signing with Los Angeles. In the US I rarely have the chance to see football, but when Becks signed it guaranteed that LA was the only team that would ever be on ESPN. And then even after he played his twenty minutes and ruined everyone's hopes, ESPN still was under contract to show LA games, so the rest of us had to suffer watching a miserable team rather than a better game with the best teams in the league. And then I had to defend Becks not playing because everyone pointed to that as an example of football players being wusses, and as a football loving minority in the US, it was my job to defend him. Sigh...Maybe he'll prove me wrong and play well, but I doubt it.

why the f*ck anybody would want to sign benjani and pay 8 million for the privalege, is beyond me. he was woeful at the stadium of light and i've heard it's a regular thing with him.
man city got off lightly if you ask me.

DAZ, at least you scored a good deal with Ćorluka.
Yeah, Ericsson is acting like a drunken pokemon master (Gotta Catch 'em All!). He reminds me of Ranieri when Abramovic bought Chelsea FC.

yes, but he brought too many (good) players... I could be wrong but I think that Robben came in Mourinho era.

Mourinho moved to Chelsea in June 2004, Robben made his first appearance for Chelsea in November 2004.

out played today, got what we deserved a beating.
Man City 1 Arsenal 3.
Andy Gray does my head in. for their 2nd goal, his co-comentator asked if he(Eduardo) was off side and Gray said "it doesn't matter". of course it fucking matters, the basket was off side.
to Quinton, you are right and it is a well known fact that billy the village is indeed a Knob.

I saw the match. I think Eduardo was in offside. But you got to admit it was a nice goal.
