Heh, my mom is royally pissed. The best part is, since I voted for Obama, she's royally pissed at me. It's kind of sickening, really. I mean, I can understand wanting to have someone in office and being sad/disappointed that they didn't make it; but being outwardly angry to something they should've seen coming for weeks now is just terrible

Or you could be blowing up a whale. That's never been tried before with disastrous results.

I was really appalled by how some of the McCain followers were booing the name Obama when McCain was making his speech.

You know what though, in spite of it all both candidates retained their dignity. There have been no real smears since the conventions and the fact that McCain, while he was obviously on the verge of tears during that concession speech, didn't let the crowd boo Obama when he could've just sat back and let them go really says something to the character of the man.
Jeez, if he had only gotten a better running mate...

Seriously though NM went to Obama, because 75% of households that make under 40k voted for him....if you can't make over 40k, you are too dumb to vote.
I earn less than $30,000 a year working my ass off as an EMT. I help people and my community everyday and I love my job.
Have you ever saved someones life? I have.
But oh well, I guess I am too dumb to vote...I will just go back to sitting in my ambulance waiting for the next emergency page to help somebody else...I hope I am smart enough to read that little old map of mine to find your house

Can we do the same thing as we did with Palin? Just move all the Obama related threads to one thread, please? Every other thread on the OT board is about Obama.

Well, I think that we as a nation have moved past that. Oh God let us hope so. Let us hope so.

I was certain that it was going to be a democrat for nearly 2 years or so. I just didn't know which democrat.

He probably should have picked Romney.
And yes I think that McCain did do a good job trying to keep it under control and I'm glad that he kept it to a level where it wasn't a bunch of people shouting "terrorist" and quite possibly worst insults.

'Bout the same. I never really doubted that chance much.
